Why don’t you guys ever use statistics, its starting to bother me. you post a topic and say this guy can shoot he’s like steve novak but bigger better, and Greekier, watch as he makes every shot in this video…theyre not going to show him missing highlight tapes. Find a real way to support your argument.

here are his stats from the last 3 seasons in the spanish league

2012/13 – 13.5 pts 3 reb 1.8 ast 36.8% 3fg
2011/12 – 12 pts 2.4 reb 1.1 ast 29.5% 3fg
2010/11 – 8.4 pts 2.2 reb 1.3 ast 34.8% 3fg

I can’t find any perfectly consistent stat sheet (each site varies slightly), but they’re all pretty similar…and by the way he’s 29 and probably at his peak

His total fg% is usually between 40% and 43% which just isn’t good

If he shot 3’s like he did this year (his best 3 point shooting year) in the NBA, he would have finished in a tie for 68th (steve novak finished 11th)
also he would have finished somewhere around 100th in fg%

There are 50 players that shot better than him from 3 in the ACB.

Let me try to dumb this concept down for you…Say you and an imaginary friend are going on a picnic and you have ten apples and one basket with which you will carry the apples. In order to amuse yourselves, you start throwing the apples at the basket one at a time. If 1 out of 10 of those apples land inside the basket…you suck at throwing apples into baskets. Your friend then does the same thing and makes 5 out of 10…hes pretty good at throwing apples into baskets…especially compared to you.

Now take this concept I just described and apply it to 3 point shooting. If steve novak shoots 100 shots and makes 45 of them…thats pretty damn good. If Kostas then takes 100 shots and makes 37…well thats pretty good too…but not as good as novak. Do you see what Im getting at here?
