Kyrie Irving
I have to agree, offensively, he has it all as a scoring PG. I think pretty much everyone had a wrong assessment of him coming out of Duke as a pass-first/pure PG. He has become the best scoring PG in the league, and has done so only in his 2nd year.
He was seen as a scorer coming out of duke also, not a pass first guy; i never thought he would be this good so fast and was a big Derrick Williams supporter(boy was I wrong.
Exactly, Irving was known as a score first pg. He has excelled at doing this in the league, yet to do it so amazingly and efficiently on his team. I mean they do have some young talent, but he is still the entire offense. When his fellow young teammates begin to reach their potential, Irving will begin to put up MVP like numbers as his assists and wins increases. While I'm writing this, this is a reason why I guess Wall has had so many doubters. Yes your team isn't any good, butas the franchise player, show us something to prove that you're your team's future. Irving has officially become my favorite player- great combination of swag, confidence, and cockiness. remember how he went at Kobe during the Olympics?
I didnt like this guy at first. I just didnt see how people could like him so much. He didnt have the jumping ability of Rose and Wall, and he didnt have the passing ability of Rondo. And he only played a couple games. But now i see how good he really is. His ability to finish just amazes me im so glad to see him as a All Star. And if i was Lebron i would really think about joining the Cavaliers.
I think we should stop comparing him to CP3 because he obviously doesn't have the elite PG ability of CP (not many do), but what about Allen Iverson with a better attitude?
Check out the Iverson over Tyronn Lue-esque step over at :50
Its fun to be a cavs fan with him on our team!
Honestly I didn't think he was going to make that shot, I for sure thought the Raptors won that game last night. But that goes to show you how Irving has progressed as a player and I'm really happy for him because he was of the most exciting players to follow in the league.
with having a pretty similar nicknames "mr.big shot" "mr.4th quater" both bigger and stronger than they look, and pretty similar shooting form on those threes, I somehow see Kyrie as a much better version of an allstar on his own Chauncey Billups
This kid is amazing. I don't care who you compare him to because he's better then them all.. He's definitely in a class of his own, am I calling him an All-Star now? Not yet, he still has ways to go, but I'm proud of him and the Cavaliers.

we are witnessing greatness. Kyrie maybe the most offensively gifted pg in the game. He has an array of moves, a deadly handle, and a sweet jumper, not to mention very clutch. He just nailed a game winner against Toronto from deep. He displayed some amazing moves throughout the game. I know Rose and Westbrook are superior athletes but Kyrie skill level is superior to theirs. Rubio is a great passer, but cannot take over a game like Irving. John Wall has potential but injuries may keep him from reaching. Simply put Kyrie Irving is the future and that future maybe closer than we think
