BouncyBallParticipantAnybody watching this game? Dwight is back and this is the first look at the new lakers squad. It really is scarry how many options they have on offence…

BigChamp12ParticipantYes! Im not a Lakers fan but I think they look really scary!! Dwight Looks good too!. Shooters are gettin very good looks with DH on the court. He’s blocking shots and running the floor, playing the high low with Pau and gettin to the line. I think it’s a good thing for the NBA also. They look happy to be on the court together too.

BouncyBallParticipantAt halftime dwight is playing great along with the entire rest of the lakers starting lineup. Dwight with 11pts 6reb 3blocks, but you can tell that while on the court he just impacts the way the game is played . Demarcus cousins and any big man guarding him does not want to leave him alone on a switch leaving wide open lanes for kobe pau and nash. Each starter has atleast +15 in +/-… Help off the bench could be an issue for them though.

ShekiruBoomParticipantplease for my eyes’ sake can someone tell pau gasol and dwight to stop wearing double bright yellow sleeves. it was ugly in orlando and its even uglier in laker color.

KayjayParticipantThey still have no bench. Its their biggest problem right now. When their starting five leave the court, they get no production from fill-ins. And unlike Miami where fill ins have a simple job of just making 3’s, Lakers fill ins need versatility.

aamir543ParticipantOn that last Kings score, Dwight looked like a middle schooler on D, he didn’t step up to stop the drive.
But on the insuing play he spun off his man for an Alley-Oop from Nash. These guys are going to be unstopable, we can pencil the, in for an automatic 55 wins.

aamir543ParticipantTo tell you the truth this Princeton offense looks really good, wouldn’t be surprised to see A) Pau average 5 dimes per game, B) Dwight lead the league in dunks, and C) Kobe lead the league in 10 foot fadeaways.

BigChamp12ParticipantI think the Lakers’ bench will be just fine. It doesnt look very good in the preseason because of the five out rotation they’re using. In the regular season, you won’t see that. Maybe 2 or 3 players will come out of the game at a single time. Therefore those back up players will only have to fill in because they’ll be on the court with other starters.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGreat first game for Dwight Howard, but I’m sure he’s disappointed because he’s not close to covering as much ground as he used to helping around the rim. I also felt he played somewhat hesitant at times as he gets used to using his back, taking hits, etc. His timing was a little off.
It’s crazy how much he’s going to help this Laker team though. It’s going to be almost unfair. Once Howard is in game shape, I don’t see how you’re going to be able to stop them.
