RR-DanParticipantRon Artest – Viable trade option if one comes up. Slowly deteriorating on both sides of the ball, e.g. wayward three point shot, lazy defense,
Team Value: C+
Derek Fisher – No longer a substantial starting point guard. Can still provide veteran leadership coming off the bench,
Team Value: C+
Pau Gasol – Like Artest, if a good trade offer comes up, Pau should most defiantly go. Weak playoff performance and hit the 30+ mark,
Team Value: B
Steve Blake – With rookies Darius Morris, whom I think was a steal and marksman Andrew Goudelock coming in. I’m not exactly sure where/how Steve Blake fits in. Because I’d rather have Derek Fisher being a reserve,
Team Value: C
Shannon Brown – Year after year my belief in Shannon diminishes. I hope he decides to opt. out into free agency this season. The Lakers should target both J.R. Smith and Jason Kapono,
Team Value: C+
Matt Barnes – I honestly like Matt Barnes. His first year as a Laker was hampered by injuries, but when he did play. He played well,
Team Value: B
Luke Walton – Nothing more than an overpaid reserve. Contributes next to none, not a shooter, not a trade piece,
Team Value: D+
Lamar Odom – Decent trade piece for the Lakers coming off sixth man of the year. Still a good energy guy that has drawn some interest from other teams,
Team Value: B
Theo Ratliff & Joe Smith – Nothing to see here folks, two guys that the Lakers should NOT resign.
Team Value: D-
Derrick Caracter – For now, a new player for a D-League team, with some run-ins with the law, Derrick Caracter needs some time to mature and further develop his skills,
Team Value: C
Devin Ebanks – A hopeful new “Trevor Ariza” for the team. Provides a lot of potential and youth, a definite keep,
Team Value: B
Trey Johnson – Like Devin Ebanks, Trey Johnson gives L.A. some added potential. Good filler for the guard slot, handled himself well in the playoffs,
Team Value: B-
Kobe Bryant – The face of the franchise is not going to budge. Kobe is still very well an elite player with a couple of good years left to lead his team to another championship run,
Team Value: A
Andrew Bynum – At the peak of Laker value, what is L.A. going to do with Bynum. Likely to miss games next season due to his immaturity, Dallas Game 4, but is undeniably the only one on this current roster good enough to become the next superstar. He’s still about 23 with growing experience (6 years and counting),
Team Value: A+
LAKER’S DRAFT GRADE: B, good crop of point guards, not wasting money on later picks.

Tim49461ParticipantSTOP! Morris/ Andrew are not going to start over a Hall of Famer and a proven point guard! Holy crap. Get it through you’re head along with everyone on this board. They are ROOKIES!

RR-DanParticipantWhat are you talking about… Fisher can’t start anymore (36-37) and Blake hasn’t shown anything to become a starter, in this point of his career.

Tim49461ParticipantYou live in the now…Im not arguing with you. I would never respect your opinion on this site again if you believe a second rounder can come in and start over a Proven Champion 5 times, Hall of Famer, Game winning shot hitting. A second rounder who cant shoot, needs strength and has average defense.
Just Stop now, You sound like you are very young if you honestly believe Andrew or Morris will start within the next 2 years

Tim49461ParticipantIf Robert Horry is going to be Hall of Famer Fisher will be too. To mention Fisher will be in the Hall of Fame for talking his way out of the CBA

aamir543ParticipantROBERT HORRY AND DERREK FISHER ARE NOT GOING TO THE HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However if htey ever make a playoffs hall of fame, both would be first ballot.
But if Fisher robs David Stern in the collective bargaining agreement, you never know…
