    lakers are flirting with a 70 point first half. they are playing unselfish but i cannot believe how bad minny’s d is. this game is on espn now.

    To be honest Lebron Hairline I really enjoy watching them struggle. The no look behind the back dime to Dwill was nice by Rubio.

    This is what I call basketball, absolutely beautiful basketball by the Lakers, an absolute pleasure to watch.

    And the crazy part is that they actually missed 9 straight shots toward the end of the half, although those were pretty good looks. They had 63 points with 6 mins left in the 2nd quarter.

    I know jump shooting teams never make it far, but I’m convinced they need to trade Dwight. But I still want to see Pau in the low post, he’s still a top 3 post player in the league.

      Why would they trade Dwight? That’s their first win all season without him. He got hurt and left them up by 11pts , and they couldnt even produce without them. They did look good last night, they played beautiful, Pau played very well. BUT they played against the following starting line-up…

      Pg Ricky Rubio – promising young player but has been injured and not yet done anything
      Sg Alex Shved- talented young player but has been injured and not going to
      Sm Derrick Williams
      Pf Andrei Kirilenko
      C Nikola Pekovic

      I know a win is a win, but yall jumping the gun BIG TIME with that one.

    That zone gave the Lakers fits, the Lakers put up 63 points in the first 18 minutes, and scored just 48 in the last 30 minutes. They ended up shooting 42% from the field, crazy considering they were on pace to score 168 points halfway through the second quarter.

    Gasol needs to play in the post, he was still taking jump shots today, and the Lakers need an inside out balance or else they can go cold like they did in the second half today.
