roni3ParticipantCrazy how athletic both of them are! I hope Wiggins and Parker’s rivalry can flourish in the NBA and provide us fans with many great games and moments.

ph90702Of course he doesn’t. LeBron James is a once in a generation talent.

DipoTimeParticipantJust going off of these videos, Wiggins really looks like a better prospect. HOWEVER, that first video didnt show off LeBrons passing ability at all, they were just two videos showcasing ridiculous athleticism and dunks, which tells us nothing.
Having said that, I honestly believe Wiggins can be everything that LeBron is minus the court vision and playmaking ability. I could see Wiggins getting 26+ points with 7-8 rebounds and elite defense. He just doesnt possess the special vision that LeBron has always had, and that is what separates them in my opinion.

WinterSoldierParticipantLebron’s body and skill set were light years ahead of Wiggins, but they are both elite athletes.

bloodshyParticipantBut wow… they are both amazing. Thanks for the great clips. It was interesting watching them side by side.

Sewok15ParticipantVideo quality has certainly gotten better in the last decade. I noticed everyone of Wiggins spin moves was from right to left. I thought I saw him spin left to right before but I can’t recall…if he only goes one way with that move he will be scouted out quickly by the NBA. I really like him as a prospect but I am sick of the LeBron comparisons. He isn’t a transcendent talent like LBJ. He should be a superstar but I don’t think he will be in the GOAT conversation like LBJ.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI still think the best comparison for Andrew Wiggins is a mix between Tracy McGrady and Scottie Pippen

andyV17ParticipantThat is a crazy high level of expectation, a mix of T-mac and Pippen is at least a top 40 all time player

ReekoParticipantIt is a high level of expectation, but as fans we don’t want him to be a top 40 player of all time, we want him to be the Greatest of All Time and be better than Jordan. As human beings we are constantly seeking novelty, and in this game of Basketball the most significant form of novelty we can witness is seeing the Greatest player of all time dominate the game unlike any before him. Expectations are high for Wiggins, such is the burden of the Star Athlete.

DolanCareParticipantI couldn’t help be smile while watching the Wiggins mixtape. He is such a special athlete.
One difference is that Wiggins is a smoother player than Lebron. Lebron has such violent movements when he powers to the rim. Wiggins just kinda floats up until his chin is at rim level. It’s incredible to watch.

ThepessimestParticipantLebron has a better handle, is a better passer, has a better body… Wiggins is a freak athlete but right now he is extremely right handed and doesn’t see the floor as well. The comparisons really hurt these prospects but I understand it’s natural and pretty much unavoidable.

slepchorParticipantExcept for the court vision (which is not demonstrated in the Lebron video… but we all know he has it) and the body (lmao, lebron looks HUGE) I think there is not such a chaotic difference between the two, always talking about the hs level. Lebron went on to evolve to a machine, let’s wait and see how it all plays out for Wiggins. Personally, I enjoyed his highlights better. As I have said, the first true superstar that I watched in hs was D-Rose, and he was nowhere near that exciting.
