immaletufinishbutParticipantDo you guys think the owners will feel more of a need to end the lockout and give in to what the players union want if a big name ( Lebron, Wade or Kobe) signs overseas for a lucrative amout?

lakersfan4lifeParticipantI don’t think that any of the European clubs can offer them lucrative amounts – the players would just do it as a statement to the owners and force them to act with more urgency before players leave to play elsewhere. Players know that once the lockout ends – their contracts with European clubs are terminated and they can return to the NBA…will be interesting to see who leaves/rumored to leave overseas.

RafterParticipantI heard awhile back that Greece was targeting him, LeBron welcomed the interest but looking at the way Greece is in now, it seems unlikey he’ll go there. I wouldn’t rule out a move to Japan or the Middle East. Teams in those areas will offer big money to land an NBA star even if it’s just for a year or as soon as the Lockout is over.
Eventhough this lockout has been terrible, i’m happy that European basketball is growing.
