I know Lester Hudson plays against crap competition most of the time but the guy is ridiculous! He had a quadruple double last year, has not scored under 20 points in a game this year and against teams last year like Memphis and Tennessee he scored 28 and 36 I believe. He should be drafted at least mid second round. I think he can play the point in the NBA, but would be a good scorer off the bench as well.

Totally agree 100%, he’ll get drafted at some point and whatever team picks him up will be pleasantly surprised. I see him as the next version of Rodney Stuckey, he is a littler smaller but they play very similarly and they each played at small-time schools so they were not house-hold names (Tennessee Martin, Eastern Washington)

1.27.9 Second behind Curry is Scoring 2. IS CLOSE TO 2,000 POINTS IN 2 SEASON 3. HE HAS LEAD UT MARTIN TO THE TOP OF THERE DIVISION 19-6 4. He had a QUADRUPLE DOUBLE! 5. HE HAS HIT 20 OR MORE PIONTS EVERY GAME THIS SEASON 6. A CURRY AND HUDSON MATCH-UGH LESTER ALL THE WAY— SO IM SAYING IF CURRY IS PROJECTED TO GO LOTTERY THEN I KNOW HUDSON IS A FIRST ROUND PICK… IF YOU LOOK AT COURTNEY LEE,RODNEY STUCKEY,GEORGE HILL, AND JASON RIDER THEY ARE PAYING THE WAY FOR HUDSON I THINK GMS WILL LOOK AT HUDSON AS A GUY THEY CAN DRAFT AND GET WHAT THERE LOOKIN FOR AS SOON AS THE SEASON STARTS!!!!!!! LESTER HASNT HAD AAU AND ALL THE OTHER BENEFITS AS THE GRIFFINS AND TEAGUES BUT HIS STORY SHOWS HE’S A FIGHTER AND I STRONGLY BELIEVE HUDSON WILL GO IN THE FIRST ROUND IN 09’S DRAFT

Top 20 yes I can feel that even though i would project him # 3 or 4 Got to remember he put up 35 to be exact on Rose and company of Memphis and I love Memphis and Rose went # 1….Like Ali or Jordan peolpe came to see a show because they heard it was a good one not because it sounded good enough for a book… people want to see the show for themselves….. Lester Hudson #3 or 4

He is real good. I saw him play against memphis that time and he is a real nice scorer. He should be a late 1st rounder, especially if George Hill was (he is twice as good as George Hill). He probably wouldve been a great scorer at a big school but he had discipline problems in high school and early in college. He looks like a point guard at the next level so, like all small school phenoms he will have to adjust to being a complimentary player more than likely

I read somethin bout him on ESPN.com a while back, sounds like a good kid who made a few mistakes and has everything on the right track now. The thing you gotta like about a kid like Hudson is he plays hungrier than those big school kids do. I heard Ty Lawson shut him down and exposed him in Orlando last year on Draftexpress, but Lawson’s the best point in hte country that’ll happen. I don’t think I’d take him late 1 because he is pretty old, and Im not sure how he translates to a winning team with a strong structure right away. Early second round, keep him doing what he does best, fighting for that contract and he could be a beast.

I agree 110%. I don’t see how people can put Stephen Curry way over Lester when they are both on sub-par teams. Then Lester does more for a team, Curry has a high IQ but Lester’s basketball IQ is just as good if not better. Lester can dish, rebound, steal, and one of the nation’s best scorers. Then he also has a developed NBA strong body unlike Curry. He should be going in the top twenty instead of these foreign players that hardly ever pan out. Lester is instant offense, and an instant help to any team.
