iguapops420ParticipantWe really need to get a thread going just for the offseason leagues going on, and numbers players drop in them.

JNixonParticipantExactly. They are NBA players playing against non-NBA competition. I’m not impressed by that at all. They are supposed to do that.

OhCanada-ParticipantI see no problem in watching highlights of Nick Young, Kevin Durant, and Lou Williams dropping 60. Are you guys kidding? How spoiled are you that you are getting upset that people make threads about players dropping 60. That Ruckers Park moment where the crowd rushed the court and buried Kevin Durant was probally one of the greatest moments of his career, and it is one of the "REALEST" basketball moments I have seen in a long time. These guys dont have to give you those highlights you know, they can go have sex with your wives on a yacht singing Beatles songs with Tupac for all they care, but they are showing out for the game and for the fans. Have some appreciation…Sorry if Im rude I just quit smoking.

WizardofOzParticipant^^THANK YOU! I mean, I think most of us want to watch ANY kind of basketball (except the WNBA), especillay during the lockout. What’s wrong with posting highlights?

JNixonParticipantI don’t even think it’s a matter of the lockout. People posted these kind of videos last summer too.
I don’t get what makes it so impressive. Guys in the NBA can hardly stop Durant from AVERAGING 30 ppg, so him getting 60 points against YMCA type competition isn’t all that special. Same goes for all these other guys. This is unorganized basketball with standout NBA players, who play the highest level of organzied basketball.

OhCanada-ParticipantIn all respect and fairness I am not sure exactly what level the Drew League is playing at, although Im pretty sure it is not YMCA level. Im pretty sure most of the players are from ametuer basketball leagues, and streetball players, but it seems that this year alot of NBA players and even boarderline NBA players have come out to play. Even John Wall in that one highlight was playing against Julius Hodge, and Durant was going toe to toe with Jeremy Hazell. Yes maybe they should be able to drop 60, so if they do we should be able to enjoy it.

i wouldnt call rucker park players ymca level at all… im sure there pretty f*cking good
but durant is a future HOF if he keeps his pace and these guys cant even sniff the nba in there dreams… so him dropping 66 is really good… but expected against that competition

MkadozaParticipantWell taht was That Young that was supposed to be guarding him, so thats one good NBA player he’s competing against. I just enjoyed seeing the ball get inbounded to him and for everyone to know what his shot was going to be, and for it to get prettier and prettier with ever release. Ruckers fans appreciate good basketball, and he was showing off one of the most unguardable shots in the NBA today.

flybobbyflyParticipantYou guys seem to be pretty belittling to the guys that play in the drew league and at rucker park. Especially considering that I doubt many of you could hold your own at all on those courts.
I enjoy watching these summer highlights and reading about whats going on during the lockout. Nobody is sitting next to you telling you to open each thread that has summer highlights. I’m way more sick of complaining than I am of seeing basketball players doing what they love to do.
@ HeGot Game. You are getting negs because you didnt give us any information or videos or anything except that Lou Williams dropped 60. Were there some highlights?
