valentinesome1 here in a game threat pointed out that louisville wasn’t a top 5 talent (props) when they were ranked higher. people negged him and told him they have a great team… so what is ur opinion or louisville now that it dropped the rank to 25?

I did not see this type of this catastrophic fall but I knew they were not top 5 good. Russ Smith is the only guy who can create his own shot and consistently hit it. Siva is a solid PG but his lack of shooting ability hurts the offense. Kendall Marshall may not be able to shoot but his teammates are better than Siva’s which allows him to play to his strengths.

surveParticipantLouisville has been decimated by injuries and even though some of their players havent missed many games due to injuries, they have been limited in practice and the injuries have seriously affected them….and this was the case EVEN BEFORE they were undefeated. The fact that there were as good as they were/are with the injury struggles they have alone show they have capable talent.

OhCanada-ParticipantChane Behanan won that game in the post. Also Dieng came up with some bigtime blocks on Beal. Great game but horrible close by the three Florida gaurds, Boynton took some horrible shots. Lousiville didnt deserve to win this game, Florida straight up lost it. You live by the three you die by the three.

surveParticipantFlorida made some key mistakes, but they let Louisville hang around too long. My point is, Louisville has always been a threat to the championship this year. Pitino’s teams have been known to peak late and the injuries really hurt them mid-season.
NC State deserved to win their game against Kansas….Leslie was on the bench for a while and State got some bad calls and no-calls and it still was down to the wire. Louisville just never quit and made their run…one that Florida couldnt withstand…so I feel they did deserve it….because they dug deep to get it.
