bentleyman_daoeParticipantAll I’m saying is, the dude avreages 24 per game, 12 rebounds and a block and steal a game each. I know Notre Dame isn’t having the best season ever but this is the second year Harangody’s been a 20-10 man. This guy is most underrated player in America. The only other guy avreaging numbers like that is Blake Griffin. I mean, he’s a junior, 6-8 and 255lbs, if he chooses to go to the NBA he ought to be a first round pick at least.
Just think for a minute: 24 points/game, 12 rebounds/game, 1 block/game, 1 steal/game 0.361 FROM THE 3POINT LINE, 77% free throws(pretty good for a big man), 1.1 assist/turnover ratio.
THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/29/2009 - 11:03am #144128
ucantcheckmejdj3Participantum, no. just because a guy puts up stats doesn’t mean that will translate into production in the nba.

michaelds911ParticipantHe just doesn’t have an NBA game. He is undersized, lacks true PF skills (he just uses his strength to score points and get rebounds), and has no athleticism to speak of.

eprizzle14ParticipantI think there could be a spot for him. Maybe he’s a guy who you can stick in the game when there is another foward at the opposing 3 without quickness tht he can guard and maybe he’ll put up some points. He very skilled I think he could become somewhat useful. I think hes a couple inches shorter then 6-8.

deuce4offHe will be garbage in the NBA, no chance to succeed.

themidnightriderParticipantAnd even that is a stretch. Harangody should try Europe. If he fails there (probably will with no jumper) he could be a great big man coach at any reputable program; the guy clearly knows how to play, he is just too limited by his physical ability.

PennycentsParticipantwell i don’t no if Harangody can be much in the NBA but i think his game is very similar to Love who went very high last year love has a bit more range but other than that i think Harangody is almost his clone a little undersized and plays similar so i dont no that i understand what love did to make himself look so good that harangody didnt but i dont think either will be a star but maybe a decent player

jmidnite2000ParticipantThink Brian Scalabrine he is at best a crowd favorite 12th man who hit a couple of buckets and picks up fouls in garbage time…..Being irish i think he’d ironicly be a great fit in Boston…..Him and Jon Brockman probably have their best years behind them and will be relegated to a short career as overacheiving, hard working and unproductive pros….think europe in a few years…

jPoeParticipantDude can play the game…his game is sort of ugly but he gets it done. and its not like hes putting up these numbers up against bums…on a nightly basis hes playing Pitt, Uconn, and Louisville …and hes still improving…wasnt he big east player of the year last year??
