Everybody on the Hawks roster
except Horford and Lou Williams have one year deals. This is by design not because Ferry can't lock guys up. You gotta give Ferry credit, he traded a untradable contract to the Nets, why would he let Mitch Kupchak and Magic dupe him into taking one.

They should have done this
They should have done this trade before the Hawks traded away Joe Johnson. No way they do it now, especially when there are teams out there willing to give up some young players and picks for a guy like Josh Smith.

So on the NBA preview show Magic proposed what I think is one of the best trade possibilities for the Lakers, but i dont know how feasible it is given the popularity of the player theyd recieve.
Atlanta receives Pau Gasol
Los Angeles receives Josh Smith.
Pau and Horford playing 4-5 interchangibly, and the Lakers get more athletic.
Discuss.
