Making a case for Kemba Walker
huge Kemba Walker fan. he's the real deal. cant wait to see him develop over the next year. I can see him as of right now being a late lottery pick but obviously he can help improve his stock over the next year. needs to cut down his turnovers, improve his shooting and basically get more seasoning. he did struggle in the final 4 game vs Mich State and Kalin Lucas so i think that'll make him hungry this year
jrue holliday was drafted as pg, who played sg because of collison being there. if a prospect is an undersized 2, and has handles and court vision, than a gm is going to draft him to play the point in the nba. and avery bradley has both. so ya never know
yah that is also true, but i think hes too good to go late in the 1st round. Hes dynamic, cant wait too see what he does this year, we're going to get to see some wikid highlights. Anyways kemba walker is real good, going to have big breakout season.
lol..im laughing at the you cant be crazy cuz mock draft has him rated the number 2 pg...is this the same mock draft that had bj mullans rated as the number one pick last year??....they are just as wrong and sometimes more wrong then most people i know....on another note though kemba is good and should have a very big year this year
listen i know that what the mock draft says means nothing, especially rite now. They had jrue holiday at #4 for the longest time, i dont pay much attention as to who they have where in there mock draft. I find draftexpress to be much more accurate than this site for mocks. this site only starts getting it right about 2 weeks before the draft, when they find out who the gm's like. I know that because nbadraft has him rated the 2nd best that he'll be the 2nd pg to go. thats not why I said he cant be crazy. I'm just saying that baller03 said he thinks kemba walker is the 2nd best pg in the draft like it was off the charts and that it was a long shot. right now before any basketball is played, and with wille warren and avery bradley being considered sg's, im sure you will agree with me in sayin kemba walker looks like the 2nd best pg prospect behind john wall.
Ok, some of you might think im a little nuts but i think Kemba Walker should be the #2 point guard prospect in the 2010 NBA Draft. I fell in love with this kid when i watched him this past season...he has the swagger to lead a team even though hes going to be a sophomore. His defense is stellar and his offensive game will improve as time goes by. I really think he is going to develop into a Tim Hardaway kind of point guard. Do i think hes gonna be Tim Hardaway? Hell No lol. but i think his game can reflect Tim's (poor mans?). He is super quick and has a nice handle. I think with him at point and Jerome Dyson at the 2, Uconn will be a solid team next year even though the departure of Hasheem Thabeet and Jeff Adrien. They still have another prospect, Stanley Robinson at the 3. There is something about Kemba Walker that tells me he will be legit prospect (lottery anyone?) when the 2010 Draft comes around. Thoughts? and oh yeah, his free throw % should improve cos i remember agaisnt Pitt he wasnt making his free throws consistently...
