Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThe Mavs have just released Derek Fisher today at his own request; the mavs also intend to use his roster spot to call up Chris Douglas-Roberts from the D League. http://tracking.si.com/2012/12/22/mavericks-release-derek-fisher/

aamir543ParticipantTweet from Fisher:
“I won’t close the possibility that I will play again, however, for now my family & being close to them remains the priority.”
Fisher would’ve been out for two weeks anyways because of a knee injury. At least he had a big game his last game before getting injured, where he had 20 points. He’s one of the most clutch players of all time, a 5 time champion and a class act.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantFisher is not done playing, the last time he said he wanted to be released was when he was with Utah, a couple days later he signed with the lakers

aamir543Participant^That was a different, that time it was because his baby daughter needed special treatment, which is why he requested to be released from the Jazz. That’s completely different than what happened today.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWill CDR play backup PG and push Collison?? Because if the Mavs want to be really good when Dirk gets back, they are going to need good PG play from someone..
