The buzz around rumour mills as of late is that the mavs have come out as potential suitors to many different teams for trades, such as Memphis for Rudy Gay, the Hawks for Josh Smith, and all the other usual suspects. Personally, as a Mavs fan, id prefer we trade for draft picks and hit the market in the summer, I dont see the point in looking for a borderline star through trades and gearing up for a playoff run, because even with a new talent they could get, the Mavs arent beating San Antonio, OKC, LAC, or Memphis in a seven game series, and I dont see any realistic moves that could change that. What are your thoughts on the Mavs situation? What/who do you think they should trade for?
