BogDon_KryptParticipantWould you trade him for a guaranteed top 6 pick this year?

WolfRobParticipantIt would have to be top 3 for me… And that’s still quite the gamble. He’s been such a stud

phila9012ParticipantYeah because he is playing great without any refined skills. He still isn’t finishing great at the hoop, he isn’t shooting well, he hasn’t worked on his body much, he doesn’t have that good of players around him. He has all of the tools to be a top 5 point guard in 3 years. Considering that it would have to be a top 3 pick like you said and even that I wouldn’t be sure if I would do it.

MopgrassParticipantI’ve been pleasantly surprised by the .409 FG%. I was really high on him, but I thought he’d shoot more like Brandon Jennings (.376 FG%). I thought he’d need a few years. Nope.
He shot .436 FG% his sophomore year of college and usually there’s a much bigger drop off for guards when they hit pros. He probably worked very hard on his shot… obviously not using correct his form… but I’m sure he shoots more practice shots than most guys.

Anton123ParticipantWhy would the Sixers do that? They’ll have 2 lottery picks, maybe even both in the top 10-11 range.
Nerlens Noel will be a rookie next year + 2 lottery picks, that seems like quite enough young unproven talent at a time for one team

HobbyOGParticipantI wouldn’t…he’s proved he can play in the L, and the sixers already will have two lottery picks.

ibe12ParticipantI really don’t know if anyone you get at 6 in this draft will be better than him. The only way I’d do it is if Parker or Embiid slipped to 6 which won’t happen.

SpartanGloryParticipantIt’s not usually smart to trade talented young players for talented young players. At that point you’re just juggling needs, and in this case, the Sixers would need a pg all over again.

TyroberParticipantNo he’s just been too good. The sixers have to be thrilled with the position they are in. They basically drafted MCW and get too add 3 lottery picks next year if you include Noel. Their future is BRIGHT.
