It's not cool that you guys are meeting up to discuss free agent plans and possibly going to play with each other. Could you imagine Larry Bird and Magic Johnson (who were good friends) or Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley (who were also good friends) in their prime getting together to discuss their free agent plans? HELL NO. Those guys were COMPETITORS. They just wanted to be better than one another. They wanted to kill each other on the court. Kobe would never do this crap. Professional sports is all about being better than your opponent. And going to play with each other would tarnish their legacies and make them seem too weak to win alone.
So you guys need to stop listening to ESPN and stick with your teams to find out who is the better player. Forget about this bro crap.
Wow this guy must be mad that his team won't be getting any of the 3 players. Dude nobody is gonna tarnish their legacy. Lebron has no legacy in Cleveland. He hasn't won anything yet. Only reason he feels pressure to stay is because he's played in Ohio all his life. And nobodys calling them a fool for playing together. You don't think Kobe had help winning. Shaq left to help Kobe. Gasol left to help Kobe. I can name 5 or 6 people who left to help him and they are not ridiculed for leaving. Kobe was fortunate enough to be able to stay a Laker and get help. So no way Kobe won on his own. No shame in a fresh new start. So stop crying. I'm sorry if Lebron doesn't go to ur team. Btw Go Knicks! Lol
Nobody wins alone, and the biggest problem with each of those guys is that they lack the supporting cast to truly compete. I personally don't see any problem if 2 of these guys decided to agree to go played ball in one city...
Gasol left to help Kobe? I'm pretty sure they never had one conversation with each other before Gasol was TRADED to the Lakers, so get your facts correct before you try to make an argument. And their may have been players who left to go play with other players, but none of them were bonafide superstars. You think Kobe is pushing LA management to get Lebron? Heck no, he wants to prove to the world that he is better than Lebron.
Yea, as for the Knicks, have fun overpaying Rudy Gay, and being back in the lottery next season.
Dear LB, CB, DW
Come to NY. Please discuss how you guys are all gonna sign to NY for all that money.
Wade- don't worry- We could give Miami Wilson Chandler and some 2nd round picks so you won't leave Miami with nothing
Bosh- Come down South, you deserve better then Hedo. Gallo is a better player and is not lazy. Did I mention he has a cool haircut and his nickname? The Rooster.
LeBron- Uhhh, Just come to NYK. We pretty much tried builting the throne for you. We will add someone for you to rule with. Plus! With the MLE, we might add ANOTHER player! Think about it- You could run the best city in the World. Knicks games and Yankee games to attend? Come on boy, we need you
Signed, Knicksboy32 (You know who I am, don't play me)
Churchboy, why u hating on NY?
Who is this CD and what music is on him?
Noones going to the New York D icks they are all going to Miami
I'm not hating on New York. I love it, its a beautiful city.
I like how this 7 guy is ripping NY yet
Your a Miami heat fan, your only relevant because of Wade- Who's looking to leave.
iM HATING ON NY FUC NY FUC THE D ICKS AND FUC THE DICKS FANS FUC THE D ICKS MEDIA OUTLETS THAT STIR UP S HIT STORMS AND FUC DONNIE WALSH FUC MIKE DANTONI AND FUC U LOL
Its gonna be a sweet day when the D icks end up signing zip zero even though they arent stingy wit deniro "they might light your wrist but that about it"
Raptors fan idiot
Oh, your a Raptors fan.
Well, no offense to you or Churchboy but I don't see Bosh resigning.
Good luck with that next season. Meanwhile, NY will get some good players ( It's NY, were bringing someone in) while noone wants to play in Toronto unless they overpay.
I'm sure players would rather play in Toronto, then play with all the distractions in New York. I mean Zach Randolph becomes an allstar when he leaves New York, Steve Francis career is ruined in New York, Steph Marbury, Isaiah Thomas. Joe Johnson and Dwyane Wade have already stated they don't want to play in New York.
I'm just saying.
I never called you an idiot. I said no offense because some people take offense to some things. If I'm correct, aren't you a Raptors fan/
Yea that was a misread on my part.
I think its a great strategy for Lebron, Wade, and Bosh to meet up and talk about where they should go. An Churchboy I respect your opionion. You are completely right that back in the old school it was about being the best and riding with your team but lets be for real we know Lebron, Wade, or Bosh can't win on their own. Thats why they are talking about it to make their dreams come true to win a ring.
I'm sure players would rather play in Toronto, then play with all the distractions in New York.
COME ON SON. Cut that out. That's not the case at all. I would tell you why all those players failed in NY but it's not worth it...
Name me ONE superstar free agent who left to go play for the Knicks??
Name the last time NY had cap space to add a superstar?
I'll save you time- The year? 1994. That year? They got the best 2 FA's on the block. I was Allen Houston.
Rip NY all you want, we will get better.
Oh dear, Knicksboy32. You don't even know your own teams history. That was the 96-97 season, when they signed Larry Johnson and Allan Houston, where both of their best years were behind them. I'll admit Houston had some decent years in New York, he only made the allstar team in 2000 and 2001 and never made an all nba team, and Larry Johnson never made the allstar team with the Knicks. Lol that must have one WEAK free agent class.
At least you can dream. The Hornets are the worst managed team in the NBA.
you dont think kobe would do this, he basically has, remember before the got gasol all he did was cry, talking about how he hate LA and wants to be traded, than he started saying publicly how bad bynum was, and maybe barkley should've done that since he never won a ring
I think meeting up is a great thing and it makes me can't wait even more to see what happens.
Mark it down.
TWO of those three will end up in Chicago.
Bosh and Wade or Bosh and LBJ.
I got Bosh and LBJ signing with the Bulls.
PG - D. Rose
SG - Draft pick which is 17th maybe paul george or james anderson
SF - Lebron James
PF - Chris Bosh
C - Joakim Noah
Awesome lineup going all the way to the championships.
Larry Johnson was traded to NY. Get with the program.
I was wrong then but I asked this before to even bigger basketball heads then me and they the last time NY had " huge cap space" was 1994.
The 1996-97 season, they had cap space but not to this level of 94 or 10'. Houston was under big contract but that was because NY moved some players if I'm correct.
The other player was Chris Childs.
How has Toronto got? Who? Hedo? Come on now. We all know- If Toronto doesn't draft talent, they have to overpay for it.
When the Knicks signed Houston and got Johnson and Chris Childs, they were still building around Ewing in hopes of getting him a championship before he retired. Johnson was a great role player though. The team eventually was lead by Houston, Sprewell, and Camby. And mark me down as one of the few Knicks fans whod DOES NOT WANT LEBRON. I dont like the guy for numerous reasons, the other is I think if he came to NY it would just be to strengthen his brand, and not to embrace NYC and the team. Id rather have Wade and Bosh. But I think its most likely that the Knicks will get Bosh and maybe Joe Johnson.
I would love LeBron James to become a Knick but
If NY could get Bosh and Johnson then maybe keep Curry's deal, let it expire and add another player in 2011? I would love it.
i have on problem with them joining together. It just puts more pressure on them to win. And no matter how much talent you have, it has to fit together and work as a team.
church boy you lose a point for this post. You dont thing NBA free agents and players dont talk to each other.
