omphalosParticipantAnybody know anything about Michael Dunigan? What are his strengths/weaknesses? I know next to nothing about him, but my local team just signed him for a month and we are going to the game tonight.

JNixonParticipantDunigan looks like an NBA PF/C but he never lived up to the hype at Oregon and was only serviceable after being expected to be an impact player in college. Basically just a big body with average athletic ability and skills

BigChamp12ParticipantI saw him play a lot of times and played against him once. He had great size and he was hyped up pretty big. Unfortunately he didnt impress me. He wasnt as strong or physical as he looked. I thought he was going to do more at Oregon but a couple of his teammates complained that he was lazy and was not playing to his potential. But skill wise he’s a banger and an intimidator and pretty decent shot blocker. He can make the short jumper and score back to the basket. I guess he just doesnt have the mindset yet. Im pretty sure he’d contribute to your local team though.

SiggyParticipantDunigan was one of the biggest disappointments to come out of Chicago in recent years. He’s the exact opposite of what this city’s been producing for a number of years. He had great physical tools but he wasted them cause he was lazy as hell. Long arms, huge soft hands, natural body strength, not great but a decent athlete. But he was lazy, didn’t stay in shape and didn’t work on his game.
He can catch the ball in deep position and finish. He can block some shots and area rebound due to his length, but last time I saw him he didn’t have much skill at all. He’s not a smart player either. Defensively he’s extremely foul prone because he’s undisciplined and doesn’t have great feet.

omphalosParticipantThanks for the comments guys, I heard an interview with him on a local radio station and he’s pretty likeable, very laid back though. Looking forward to seeing this game now, I’ll report back. It should be noted that Adris Deleon is also in this game on the other team, should be a lot of fun.
