At 50, with the milage he has on those legs, that's impressive.
Erving dunking at 63, 26 years removed from the NBA is more impressive.
One of the least surprising things i've ever seen
After all Kid-Gilchrist did admit that MJ beats him in 1 on 1
talking about legends, I have read (actually yesterday) that Wilt at Lakers scrimmage back in early 80's hold Magic's team scoreless or so..
Did anyone think he wouldn't be able to dunk at 50? This guy had a 48 inch vertical in his prime. He is 6' 5" with long arms and big hands. He probably has a standing reach of about 8' 7" and so needs about a 24" jump to do a baby dunk. If he can still jump 30"+ then dunking is easy. And you can see there that this was an in game dunk without a huge amount of run up.
Dr. J is dunking at 63. That is impressive. I expect MJ to be able to do the same at 60. 50 was . . . a slam dunk.
Someone said that there is ALSO video evidence of Zach Randolph dunking this year, but I will have to see it to believe it.
