I think another year wouldn't hurt, yes next year draft is pretty stacked but he wouldn't end up in the 2nd round. And if he stays he well more and likely go to a better NBA team. This gives him the chance to learn and develop off the bench. To me he has alot of potential and could be a really good NBA player
We'll i was the first one to have MCW in the top10, and praised him since game 1 of the season vs. san diego st.
He started to die down right when people start seeing him as a lotto prospect.
His shot is a problem.
Lorenzo Brown's stock shouldnt be that far apart from him.
i hope so man...i wish he was putting up a bunch of assists like before...im still waiting on that tripple dub..hopefully he just kills in the tourney
yea man like honestly i think lorenzo is gonna be really good in the nba...hes another guy i think could lead his team deep in the tourney..nc state man i hope they live up to the preseason expectations...and my fav player cj leslie smh dude needs more hype..hes hyped up but underated/underappreciated at the same time
MCW is 21 and if he were to get drafted this year, he wouldn't suit up in the NBA until he is 22. If he stays one more year he would be 23, which isn't an appealing age to most GMs in the first round. If he were to some reason stay until he's a senior, he wouldn't suit up in the NBA until he is 24.
While returning another year could benefit him so he would have time to physically mature as well as add a jumper, I don't think there is any doubt he'll leave, if for no other reason than his age. Plus his stats are good, and he is a 6'6 PG which would be highly coveted.
And unless he just starts playing flat out awful, I don't see how he could slip into the second round in any of the next 3 drafts. Plus if he felt he was going to go second round, he would return to boost his draft stock, but that's not going to happen. He's a top 20 pick, and more likely a back end lottery pick (7-14 range)
Isn't he just a sophomore? Why is he 21 already?
Just like Wes Johnson being a 23 year old junior at Cuse. I didn't know that he was that old. He should strike while the iron is hot but to be honest I wouldn't want my team taking him.
MCW went to prep school, but he didn't even reclass in prep so that means he was 16 when he began his freshman year. It isn't uncommon in today's day and age for someone to be held back a grade or two. As bad as it may sound,it happens man. And actually now days some people are making their kids do grades over on purpose. Rodney Purvis did 8th grade twice and so did Dakari Johnson but they both were good students when they arrived in high school and realized they don't need the extra year of school and moved back up into their original childhood class. But lets not get put off by the age thing. People get held back,it happens.
dog why does everybody care about the age thing? i still dont get it. i mean its not like the dude is 25 u know? do u know how many d1 players went to prep school..id say probably about 20%...i just dont get how 21 is an old man entering the nba..i mean look at it like this...he is only 4 years older than the youngest player to suit up in nba history lol

if i am mcw i am 110% entering the draft after this year..his stock is as high as its ever gonna be. he has played pretty bad in the big east and IMO if he stays his stock will go down.. he runs the risk of slipping to the 2nd round if he stays another year. must go after this year. any thoughts?
