Lebron’s HairlineParticipantReports around the league are saying that the Raptors are making a serious run at Rudy Gay; as a raptors fan if we give up Terrence Ross I will hang myself, they say the deal will most likely involve jose Calderon. In other news Anderson Varejao is set to have knee surgery which will sideline him for 6-8 weeks. Smh Cleveland should have traded him while his value was skyhigh. This is the second year in a row where Andy is having a good season then suffers a major injury.

Lotto StudParticipantWould you rather package DeRozan in a Gay deal?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantTbh is rather us stay put as we have a nice young core, Gay is a guy that will put up numbers but won’t impact a team in the win-loss column. I’m pretty sure the grizz would want Ross as he is a good shooter, can defend, is insanely athletic, and is much cheaper then Demar. Memphis is looking for young cheap talent and shooters.

theTKOshowParticipantas a raps fan i will join in the hanging if we give up ross. he’s on a cheap deal for the next 4 years and has really been coming on of late. shoots well, defends, looks to know how to come off of screens and dont think anything needs to be said about his athleticism.
what also worries me about giving up ross is that we would then have 3 over paid players in bargnani, demar (although he looks to be a good signing if he can keep playing well) and then rudy. Neither of these 3 guys have really shown the ability to carry a team on their back and shoot high volumes. id hate to see demar go but i think at this point id rather hold onto ross. in all honesty dont really want rudy unless it means dropping bargnani (not realistic or possible)
they’ve finally started playing like a team, they should keep this core going, once jonas comes back we’ll have a centre to bang down low without playing ed davis or amir out of position when we play against centres that are big boys like cousins, or perkins

i’m jus so offendedParticipantOnly way I give up Ross is in a package deal to dump Bargnani and get some kind of talent/pick back as well

goneParticipantThis thread would’ve been 100x more entertaining if it said “More Gay News”

Sharp ShooterParticipantThis would be all fine and dandy, but it still doesn’t answer the Raptors main weakness….A big who plays downlow. Ed Davis is no more than a 6 man at best, Amir isn’t isn’t a starter, and Valencuinas has potential but will def. take time. If your gonna trade either DeRozan or Ross or package them with Bargani you better get a good big man in return. Trading for Gay would not make the team better, Ross and DeRozan are fine for the Raptors.

Sharp ShooterParticipantNor will having DeRozan or Ross (along with Bargani) will help the Grizzlies. So in the end, both teams lose in this deal
