The most injury riddled team in recent history
You know your luck is down when even your coach starts missing games.
It's a shame, there are quite alot of users on here that would love to the Wolves fully healthy and in the playoffs.......

The Blazers probably had luck of that kind sometime in the past 5 years, But what the hell, the Josh Howard and Lazar Hayward ones made me laugh, that's crazy.
Yeah I knew Portland would come up in this, but I was talking more of just one year thing.
Some more things I forgot to add in the original post:
The Wolves have had their full team for 0 games this year. Yup that is correct. 0 games.
Love and Rubio have been on the court together for 28 minutes all season.
I was really pulling for the T-Wolves to make the playoffs but you can never predict injuries
In a way this Minnesota team reminds me of 04-05 when a bunch of the Pacers players were suspended for the Palice brawl. It seemed like their roster was gutted for half the season, just like this Minnesota team. The only difference between the two teams is the reason why the players were inactive. It's pretty impressive that the Wolves are doing as well as they are right now with all these injuries.
Without a doubt theyr the most injury riddled team i can remember even for a long time going back to the Knicks right after theyr run in 1994 pr 95.Rubio, Love, Budinger all gone then Lee and Addleman Roy too but that's more expected.
Portland with what theyv ( Oden and Roy) lost i feel like wel be looking at them like we do the Celtics and Len Bias. Especially since they passed on KD for Oden.
without the play of Pekovic, Kirilenko, and even Alexy Shved, this team would be a complete bottom dweller because of these nasty injuries
I remember a warriors game a few years ago when they had only 8 active players, then anthony morrow got hurt 4 minutes into the game, then they had three players foul out but the allowed steph curry to continue playing because then they would be down to four players. Now thats injured
Heres the link to the boxscore: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=300115009
Back when Monta played 48 minutes every other night.. It's amazing he hasn't run into any serious injury issues considering the style he plays..
What's most worrying about this is that it appears as if Shved has finally hit a rookie wall... Without his solid play the wolves could fall on a rough stretch of games..

Are the Minnesota Timberwolves the most injury riddled team in recent NBA history? I cant think of a team that has had this bad of luck with injuries or illnesses. Yesterday we needed 2 of our assistant coaches to practice with the team just so we had enough bodies to do 5 on 5.
Here are some stats: We have played 35 games. Number in parathesis is games missed
Kevin Love(17)-Broke his hand, rushed back and played very poorly, then broke his hand again.
Ricky Rubio(25)-Recovering from torn acl. Still has a minute limit and has not looked like the same player
Chase Budinger(29)- A day after hitting a buzzer beater, he goes down with a knee injury
JJ Barea(7)-Has a herniated disk in his back, but is trying to play through it
Josh Howard(24)- Was signed because of injuries to team. Played well and then tore his acl. No longer on the roster.
Brandon Roy(30)-Everyone knows this story. Not unexpected, but still a bummer.
Malcolm Lee(19)- Moved into the starting lineup after the early injuries. A great defensive player. Out for the season because of hip and knee injuries.
Lazar Hayward- Signed recently because we didnt have enough players. Immediatly gets sick and misses his first game.
Rick Adelman(6)-Has missed the last 5 games and will miss tomorrow against the Clippers.
Are there any other teams that have been injured like this?
