Here’s what I think Portland needs to do. they need to look to move outlaw, rodriguez, frye, maybe blake, and maybe.. bayless, I know that sounds crazy, but let me explain

-ok here is my reasoning with trading bayless. I think bayless is very talented, and will be good if he can get out, bayless isn’t a true pg, he’s more of a scorer, portland already has a peremiter scorer in roy, and needs a pg that can facilitate, and get other ppl open looks. Bayless needs to go somewhere he can either play the 2 guard, or play pg but still get his shots.

-portland needs to look into posibbly moving blake, i think blake is a better option to come off the bench, i would rather keep him to improve the bench, but portland needs an upgrade at the starting pg, somebody who can take ppl off the dribble better, and can score more and create more, maybe bibby if availble, raymond felton maybe, maybe hinrich, not sure who exactlly but you all get the point, the need a better pg to start and help lead them.

-Also portland needs to get a bigger, more physical sf, who can take the load off roy, maybe richard jefferson, loul deng, corey maggette, josh howard
-Portland needs to a post player, thats quick, and athletic, and can bang the boards, and be physical, maybe sign or trade for someone, or through their 1st rd pick

dunno just spit ballin, they have a great core with roy, aldridge, and oden when he developes(soon) rudy, martell can both add scoring, and batum is very young aswell, and will help, especially down the road when he fully developes.

It would make sense for portland to trade blake or outlaw since they will have only 1 yr remaining on their contracts. They probably should trade Przy too. I see aldridge and roy are free agents next year so they will have to find the money to resign both of those guys.
If Portland has the money now, they should try and sign villenueva who is a big athletic SF/PF who would be an upgrade over Outlaw and batum.
They should also try for ramon sessions, he’s a pure point guard which portland needs.

I think Blake is doing exactly what he needs to do. Hit the open 3s, and distribute the ball. Broy and LA can do most of the scoring if he can just hit some 3s along with Rudy. We don’t need a big scorer from the PG position. I think Bayless is a back-up PG for now. I still love the Austin Daye pick if he can sit back and gain some weight, and some experience

I see rumors of portland thinking of signing hedo Turkoglu. That would be great since he would be a big upgrade over Outlaw and Batum.

hedo is a good player, better than both batum and outlaw, but tourk dominates the ball too much and the ball needs to stay in roy’s hands to be they guy who takes ppl off the dribble and runs pick and rolls, hedo take way too many dumb shots, especially at the end of games, I feel as if he would hurt Roy’s production
