i’ve butted heads with mr knick a few times but i think its ridiculous how he gets so many negatives for solid posts or posts that are him just stating his opinions on things.

This isn’t about lack of respect for other peoples opinions.

It’s one thing to state an opinion. It’s another thing entirely to state your opinion in the form of a fact that is not based in truth.

 

Oden was not injury prone early in his career. There is simply NO truth to what that anonymous "rival exec" said.

If you want to make a case for Oden being a bad pick, go ahead… but don’t do it on the basis of absolutely ridiculous hearsay.

 

Good luck to Greg Oden. I hope he stays healthy so we can see if he can live up to his potential

 In all honesty, I have mad respect of Mr. Knick, he’s a smart guy who has been posting on this forum longer than I have.  He can be a bit emotional and fan based at times, but the dude has some serious basketball knowledge, I don’t know the whole deal about him spamming, but he always bounces back, I never understood the massive ammounts of negatives for him either.

But seriously he makes some very good posts which deserve recognition. Sometimes his opinions maybe off, but then again 95% of the pots on this site are incorrect. He is like had Ford. He tas a radical approach. Even well we butted heads I gave him extra positives because people straight hate on him.

I don’t agree with all Mr Knick’s posts but his contributions are often as valid as anyone else’s and no-one will ever agree on everything and we all look at things from different perspectives.

The only thing I don’t like is when people start posting trades which will never happen, discussing trading Melo for example now is perfectly valid but say considering trading Tim Duncan or Kobe would seem totally pointless to me.

I try to add points for good posts and will mark down any posts which I think are poor but I do it regardless of who posts them.

I think he makes some good posts, albeit he seems to be trying to make the Knicks into a dynasty, but I can not really hate. In no way do I feel any hate towards him, and I have seen his blog posts and am quite impressed. I take the right to disagree with some of his posts on this site, but in no ways is for hate towards him. If I respond to someone or disagree, it is only to try and step their game up or to just state my personal opinion as well. But as for the season previews I saw from Quentin, I have a lot of respect for that. Keep practicing your writing and maybe work on your grammar, but very impressive man, and I hope people indeed do look at his impressive season previews he did on Sir Charles-in-Charge. I can not hate on the fact that he has an obvious passion for basketball and analysing the game.

I don’t know why people try and make him to be a villain. He posts his opinion just like everybody does. I don’t agree with EVERYTHING anyone says, to me that’s one of the beauty’s of this forum, but it’s like people go out of their way to insult him, which is lame to me. It’s also incredibly lame to call him names because you don’t agree with his posts, so kaynedabest, you actually are the one that looks silly calling someone an "idiot" just because he has a varying opinion(s) than you. There is nothing worse than someone that talks down on someone in a place where you aren’t face-to-face.

I have to stop taking it to heart a little bit. I love the site and honestly, I love the people on here. I just love talking about the game of basketball. It’s what I want to do for a profession.

I know I rub some people the wrong way and I gotta stop that. It’s not cool. I don’t want people to hate posting things or comments because I don’t like them or disagree with them alot.

Even though I argue with alot of ya’ll, I love coming here and doing it everyday!
