i don’t think he’ll be on the rookie first team, but not because of ability, but because of how deep the class. probably it’ll be:

wall, turner, griffin, johnson, cousins, favors

How much times you seen him play? I’m pretty knowledgeable on most of the prospects, but I don’t know much about him besides his dunk as a frosh, i saw it live on espn, and the couple scouting reports the past 2 years or so on him. What you like/dislike? Upside, downside?

I am kind of confused why he is ranked so low base on what i seen of him but mostly they were higlights but still he move at an unbelievable pace and is super athletic. He shot does not look picture perfect but it seems effective.

I live in california and they show Fresno St games on television where I live. Think Trevor Ariza, although his defense is slightly below Ariza’s, but basically thats who he compares to, in my eyes.

I see the next Danny Granger in him. I see him going top 20 easily now.

Yea Granger is a good comparison also, but I highly doubt he becomes a lights out shooter that Granger is, and become an annual 20 point per game scorer, thats why im leaning on him more to take the Trevor Ariza route.

I agree, but I think he won’t be a great of a defender as Ariza. I think a mix between Granger and Ariza is what we are looking at. I just think his ceiling is higher than that of Ariza’s.

I was high on him last season (along with Luke Babbitt) and I believe he’s on the lotto cusp.

The thing that impressed me? He grew 2 inches since he left HS. He also is a sound shooter and a solid rebounder. Kinda like Wes Johnson

i think he is better at getting to the line then johnson and has more offensive potential in terms of all around game, but its a big “IF”. however, he is said to be more of a 2 guard unlike wes johnson who is a 3.

Paul George is a Rudy Gay clone who happened to play at Fresno St. There is nothing about him that reminds me of Danny Granger except maybe their height. George is head and shoulders more athletic then Granger and he shot over 44% from three his freshman year there is nothing wrong with his shot he has a high quick release tho a little unorthodox. George has the potential to move into the lottery because of his size, shooting ability, length, and athleticism. Think of Stanley Robinson with a 3 point shot.

He still has to get stronger but possesses an interesting mix of athleticism and shooting, He should be picked at 15-20 position

Only going off of highlites, the ESPN game, and multiple scouting reports, I have to say that Paul George is one of my favorite prospects in the draft. I love his offensive game and think that he has just as much potential as just about anyone in this draft.

Ya i would say a better shooting Trevor Ariza…i think George will actually be a solid perimeter defender as well, guarding 2’s and 3’s.

haha I get negative points for saying George would go in the lottery back then nobody seemed to agree with me but Larry Bird who took him tenth.  And NBAdraft.net rated him as the number one most impressive prospect at the Orlando summe league.

A Toast To His Boy George!
