Killer_kat12345ParticipantI have to disagree with the Raptors pick at 13… there is no way they will be picking Jan Vesely…
Just because he is a Euro talent doesnt mean he will fit well with the Raptors. They should be looking for a Defensive presence mostly in the Center position0 - Posted on: Sun, 04/18/2010 - 8:24am #285933

td8118Participanta few thoughts….
Not sure if the Kings will take Cousins 3, theyre pretty deep with Landry, Hawes, and Thompson but definitely a possible pick
I think the Grizzlies would take Hassan Whitedale, as Thabeets done nothing to show hes solid or reliable as a pro
CAn the pacers seriously take another white guy to build around? Id go Ed Davis in that spot

IndianaBasketballParticipantI think this is a solid mock… Both the first and second round.
There are rumors that the Raptors want to trade Turk ASAP. There’s talk they may try to package him in a sign and trade deal with Bosh during the off-season. I think Vesely would be a great pick. He’s a great athlete and will be a good defender right away. He’s also tough, which is something Toronto needs. Oh yea… And he fits in with the international thing that have going on up there.
I think Cousins would be a great fit for the Kings. Hawes isn’t tough enough at center and is probably better coming off of the bench. Thompson’s true position is the four. Cousins would bring toughness and a legit low post scoring threat.
The Grizzlies will NOT take Whiteside. That’ll be like picking Thabeet all over again. Not to mention, Gasol is still the starter.
The Pacers could use Aldrich. Hibbert isn’t tough, nor does he impact the defensive end enough and Foster just had back surgery. We’re thin at center, plus we lack a defensive and rebounding force. I think Aldrich could serve those needs. It has nothing to do with his color.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI like the mock, but…
– Where’s Armon Johnson? Do you think he’ll go undrafted?
– Would the Piston’s take Motiejunas when Aldrich and even Whiteside are still on the board?
– Udoh and Patterson going before Davis? Davis is a top ten prospect in this draft. I can’t see him falling out of the lottery.
– Picking Turner is a no brainer, but then you have the T-Wolves picking George and Lawal. The T-Wovles are in need of a center, not another undersized four man.
– Why would Chicago take Ebanks? They have a lot of money committed to Deng and just drafted Johnson last year. The Bulls need shooting. James Anderson is still on the board.
– I like how you have OKC picking up two very good defensive bigs, but I think they’ll use one of those picks on a small forward that can shoot. KD doesn’t have a backup. Singler is still on the board.
– You have Memphis picking Patterson in the lottery and then Orton with the 28th pick. I doubt that’ll happen.
– The Wizards won’t pick Stephenson. They’ve have to deal with too many headcases this season.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI don’t seen Orton falling to 28 and Portland isn’t taking a PG, They already have Andre Miller and Jerryd Bayless

wesleymatthews23ParticipantJust looked at lottery and was disgusted.
Henry to the Jazz? C’mon do you even listen to all the posts this site has about that pick, it is horrible.(every one likes it except for a very few select people like dwilljazz8, butidonthavemoney) He does not belong with the Jazz. They have Matthews who yes is less talented and has less potential then Henry but, the Jazz are loaded at SG (Matthews, Miles, Korver) Why do you think we traded Brewer? Was not just for pure cap space. Besides Sloan loves Matthews, why would you want to replace someone that your coach loves? Just doesn’t make any sense. Henry is a chucker, Sloan hates chukers. Why do you think Almond is not with the Jazz anymore?Vesely to the Raptors, yeah he’s european and the Raptors love euros, but they already have SF in Turkoglu and isn’t he Euro too? What about Bosh, he for certain will be leaving in the offseason, the Raptors will certainly want to replace him.
Udoh to the Hornets, what happened to Okafor. These guys have the exact same game. Udoh would not fit well with the Hornets. Hornets always go for best available and the best available at that point would be Davis.
Montie to the Pistons, what about the Center position. Monty can’t play Center. I see Monty falling lower then 7. Maybe 10-14 range.
No way Davis falls out of the lottery. Scouts are very high on this guy. Yeah he had a bad year at UNC, he got hurt, but scouts still know he can play and will take him based on pure potential just like Whiteside. No way he falls out of the lottery.
This is why I was disgusted by the lottery.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThere are rumors that the Raptors will try to move Turk this summer. Easier said than done considering the fresh ink on his contract, but if they can… Vesely would be a good pickup. He’s got a ways to go offensively, but he’s tough, very athletic, runs the floor and most importantly… He defends. He’d be a good pickup.
