How do you think as a franchise the Warriors are looking? IMO we have young talent. (Randolph, Wright, Morrow, Belinelli, Ellis, Biedrins) We may have over payed for Ellis and Biedrins but Monte came back pretty well after a long time off and I think he’ll pick it up this season. Biedrins is a solid center but thats about it. Wright and Marco were hurt on and off and with the emergence of Morrow, Bellineli is expendable IMO. If their are any takers on Wright I say we unload him. He can be a solid player but he’s a role player and far from the Garnett comparison this site gave him a few years back. I believe Randolph is legit and can be a vital #2 option once he really grasps the game and doesnt settle for 20 footers. There is a clogged 2 spot backcourt Marco, Buike, Ellis, Morrow and possibly Crawford if he excercises his player option, signed through 2010. Obviously their is a need for a PG because I believe Watson is the only one on the roster. I’m hoping the Warriors dont take Flynn. I dont think he’ll be able to finish in the NBA, too turnover-prone and isn’t the phasilator/creater that Chris Paul is. I also have my questions about Jennings. So in my opinion they draft S. Curry. I think this guy is going to be a stud and a point guard, we’ll have to wait and see. I can also see them drafting Clark and developing a Randolph Clark combo at forward, that would be a lot of length. With that said I think there’s a chance Derzan has the most upside of all the players remaining at their pick Unfortunatly, I dont think they’ll be able to make a real impact FA aquisation this offseason or next cause they have some people on the books for $dough$. How can they have optimal success sooner rather then later?

I would agree with that pick if he slipped. He would easily be the BPA. I like his touch around the Hoop and his Moter but he seems kinda like the players that Wright and Turiaf are except I believe Hill can be better then both of those guys. That said I think Hill is off the board.

I love the idea of them taking Johnny Flynn he doesn’t go at 6. That way Monta Ellis can play off the ball.

I don’t think Bellineli is expendable. This organization is very high on him and started him over Jamal Crawford going down teh stretch last season, (Cost me 3rd place in my fantasy league among other things.) Him and randolph aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. They need a 1 or a 4 in this draft, but I don’t see Jordan Hill slipping to them.

First they should make something out of the signing of Maggete last Summer. It don’t even make sense what’s the organization is thinking with that contract they give to Maggete. For me Ellis,Biedrins and Randolph are the untouchables in this team. I like how Capt. Jack facilitates play but he got a high turn over game. so GSW should trade down lets say maybe trading Maggete + 6th pick to the bulls for Hinrich +16th and 26th pick of the bulls.

I’m not that high on HIll. I think there is a chance he could slip to the Warriors but I still don’t think they would take him. I wouldn’t take Hill over Jrue, Jennings, or Tyreke. Golden State needs to draft one of those three to run the show. I think all three of them will be better at PG then Curry. I wouldn’t trade Wright or Bellineli. I think they are just so talented..give them a chance to shine. Get rid of Jackson & Crawford. Continue to build a young team and talent will come. Randolph is a stud. Biedrins is solid but I think finding another Center would be great. There are other centers that I think would blend better with Randolph & Wright. The shooting guard position is solid and set, no need to change anything there.

    PG-Evans, Jennings, or Holiday
    SG-Ellis/Belinelli/Morrow
    SF-Randolph
    PF-Wright
C-Biedrins (Look for a young Center in next years draft)

Yeh DeRozan is a great player but for the Warriors to be great they need a point guard for their system. So I would take Jennings, Flynn, Holiday maybe Maynor but nt Stef Curry I cant see that working at the warriors as he will want to shoot alot more than the other points (plus I reckon it will be awesome to see Curry play for D’antoni).

Plus keep Wright and Randolph both will be better players than Hill just need some minutes.

Honestly their biggest problem is their coach. He has no interest in developing young talent and only cares about offense.

I think their biggest need is young muscle with Randolph and Wright both having the frames of 12-year old girls, so why not trade down to say the Pistons who really need a player like Hill or Flynn and they have I think 3 2nd rounders, so now the Warriors with no.15 take Dejuan Blair and can add a solid point like Price or Collison in the 2nd round

This notion that the Warriors just need a point guard is ridiculous. Monta is more than capable at the point. None of you are taking into consideration their style of play which doesn’t require a pure pg or a hall of famer to run the show. Taking Johnny Flynn would be idiotic, not because he can’t play, but because with him and Monta playing together they would probably have the smallest starting backcourt in the league. They already have size problems up front, you don’t need to double down on the problem by doing the same thing in the backcourt. For the clown who said the Warriors need to get rid of Jack, you are an idiot. Jack is the heart and soul of that team. He’s their most clutch player, emotional leader, plays 3 positions and their best defender, on a team that doesn’t play D. They need Blake Griffin but unfortunately they pick at 7 and not 1 and Jordan Hill has the potential to be a real bust, but this draft is so weak that he may have to do. Eprizzle will you please learn how to spell before you post again , it would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with superfan that one of the skinny-minnies has to go. Randolph is more promising. I however disagree that Blair is the answer. He has bad knees and would be dying, trying to keep up with Ellis. I like Biedrins in the middle. They just have to decide where they want to play Ellis and decide on a solid permanant backcourt mate for him. They need to draft Ellis’s partner or a replacement for Jackson.

warriors need a whole new team. they are moving farther and farther away from playoff contention. they need to get rid of nelly and the bad management. monta can’t play the pg and no one on the warriors except randolph can defend.

ok first of all….will all the people who say get rid of stack jack PLEASE watch a warriors game and realize he isn’t going anywhere? he’s the heart and soul, like what ipower said. he IS the golden state warriors. i think Monta will be a fine pg, not good, not horrible. Jackson is the main distributor anyway. i don’t undertstand why people are so down on that, if you watch the NBA finals, you may see that one of the team makes a lving off of that (Magic-with Hedo and Jameer), and even the Lakers have Odom set-up the offense. If we can get Jordan Hill, and have him play the 4 next to Andris, move Jackson back to the 2, Monta to the 1, and Maggette (if we still have him) or Azibuke at the 3, i think that is a solid team that could challenge for the 6th-8th spots in the playoffs. and if not, Tyreke Evans. I’ve been saying it all along..look at all my GSW posts! I always say get Evans and people bash me for it
