Nate Robinson headed west
I could definitely see a trade between the Knicks & Kings going down. Especially if its a sign&trade type deal. Obviously the Kings want Nate but I think they would also be interested in Chandler (who seems to be on the trading block). The Knicks would probably be interested in Greene, Garcia, & even McCants.
What about this trade:
Kings get: Nate Robinson (sign & trade), Wilson Chandler
Knicks get: Greene, Garcia, McCants(sign & trade)
Chandler isnt on the block. We could've had the 5th pick if we threw him in with Hughes. Alot of teams are inquiring about him but he is as close to untouchable as anybody on the roster. The only deal I can see him involved in is a possible trade for rubio.
Man yall act like Chandler is an allstar or something....I don't think he is that much better than Garcia. Plus Greene is still young and has a ton of potential. I would take McCants over Robinson anyday.....of course I am biased though ha.
In my opinion, Robinson isnt really a guy I want if im a rebuiling team. He will stunt the growth of young players. He is a good offensive player but takes lots of shots. Best place he could play would be the Knicks, Warriors, or Suns just because of the style of ball they play.
I would be so happy if the Kings got Robinson. You can have Greene and especially have Garcia cuz he is terrible. The kings need some excitment again. Do you think they would have Martin at the 3, evans at 2 and Robinson at 1 then? Or would Robinson play 2 and Evans the 1?
News Flash...Nate Robinson is not going to start over Kevin Martin. Nate wouldn't even start over Tyreke. Nate would be a good 6th man for the Kings, he wouldn't start. Garcia isn't terrible either. It would be stupid to give up on Greene so quick also.
The Lakers and Kings are 2 teams that are reportedly very interested in Nate Robinson. Kobe Bryant and Jerry Buss are supposedly enamored by him after his 33 point showing in LA. The Knicks and Kings were very close to a deal that woulve sent Robinson and Jeffries to Sacramento before the tade deadline. That deal is said to have re-emerged this offseason.
It would be great if we could unload Jeffries' contract with Nate and possibly get Donte Greene in return with some expiring contracts.
