I’m going out on a limb and saying that Wolters will be the steal of the draft. He is currently rated as a second round pick by the site and I think that is way too low.. This guy makes things look easy. He has a NBA game and great size for the PG spot at 6’4. Also, to the people that compare him to Jimmer, you’re way wrong. He is a PG that was asked to score for his team to be successful. He has averaged over 6 assist a game for his career. That is very hard to do in college and even harder when you aren’t playing with great players.

Like I said, he makes it look easy.. He never looks like he is straining, confused, or out of control. He has learned to score and it will serve him well. If you haven’t seen him, he has some really long arms and broad shoulders. He isn’t exactly jacked but he is well built.

Look out for Wolters.. He is gonna be nice..

i think yesterday may have made his stock go up a little. his stats weren’t the best, but neither was trey burke’s, and that’s not an easy guy to contain.

Wolters is a better playmaker and passer then Jimmer..But he doesnt have Jimmer’s shot..If he did everyone will be saying he’s a surefire 1st round pick…

I still believe he will be selected in the late 1st round..I doubt Indiana lets him get pass them…..He showed last night that even when he’s not scoring, he can still be affective in other areas…..

If Wolters had Jimmer’s shot then you’re most likely looking at a top 5 talent.

Very impressed with his poise but does he possses that killer instinct? He makes you believe that he can flick the switch and become a killer but making people think he is a killer and actually doing it are two different matters indeed. His stock could rise due to the shallow PG class, Smart is obviously the floor-general prize which is somewhat ironic as he’s not a the purest point guard, but I digress, the rest of the guys will have to scrap which makes me believe that a guy like Wolters could creep up the board. Of course my opinion is based from what’s happened so far, Trey Burke could have a really strong tournament.

Why are you asking if a pg that’s suppose to be drafted in the second round has a killer instinct? Isn’t that question for wings that are suppose to be the franchise changing top 5 pick, for like a guys named Shabazz Muhammad or Ben McClemore? To me this question is irrelevant, and his basically like asking if a Center has handles or if a pg has post moves.

BUT IMO Wolters does have that,”make it look easy” feel when he plays.If he would have had a decent shooting night they would been in the game till the clock 00.Ive said it before but he kinda reminds me of Nash because of his creativity,touch, and ability to get any where on the floor in a very well controlled way.

I agree I’ve been high on Wolters since last year. People question the level of competition he plays against but he does the same thing against high ranked teams. He had an off game last night yet still managed a respectable 12, 6, n 5. Which is another asset he brings to the table is his ability to fill up a box score. He’s a player with many dimensions and intangibles to his game and has great size for his position.

As for an NBA comparison I think he’s going to become a Kirk Hinrich type player. I also expect him to shoot up the draft boards during predraft workouts.
