This morning, I went to my Barbershop in the Syracuse area.

It was early. I got there at 6 and didn’t get my cut until 10. I took my glasses off when a tall man walked into the room. He said ” What’s up” to my barber and to me. I gave him a pound and he took a seat in the back.

My barber said ” You know he play for the Wizards right”

“That was Andrey Blatche”

I was shock for 30 min. I wanted to go up to him and say what’s up but I didn’t wanna look like a dork in front of all the barbershop.

Needless to say, Andrey was cool. He was joking with all the people in the shop. I gave him a pound as I left, introduce myself and he was so cool with it.

That was my morning. Probably the greatest morning this summer.

A lot of them are but I’ll tell you one story.

One day, it was my brother, my dad and me. We were in the ESPN zone in Times Square. We see Charlie Ward, Larry Johnson and Allan Houston. We all walk up for autographs and Larry Johnson was like ” Man, ya’ll should pay for these autographs. You see us having a good time and people like you begging. Tired of this.”

We didn’t come at him like hounding him, he calmly walked up, said were Knicks fans and asked. LJ could have said no but he like got mad. Houston and Ward were cool but like LJ started smiling and got out a pen. We just left- we didn’t even want his autograph after that.

I like Larry Johnson. He’s one of my favorite players of all time. I like when he played Grandmama on Family Matters and played 2 on 2 with Urkel.

Are you sure Larry J was not playing with you because some do that just to be funny. Act mad and then get a reaction from people. It may not be the nicest thing but some people have a weird sense of humor. It could have just not signed anything and been polite about it which would have been worst because you would not have a signature. I was not there so I don’t know but I have known people to do that though act mad and still smile like it was the funniest thing to see the look on yall faces.

I love hearing that athletes are down to earth. Exspecially since Blanche is poised for a break out year. I haven’t talked go an athlete who was a &*^^, but i’ve been a $^& to an athlete.Read This!

I was six when my family took me to a basketball game and at the end of the game I heard an announcement saying that any fan who picked up 25 cups for recycling got a free t-shirt. I then became a 6 yr old w/ a mission. I finally got 25 and felt good when my family ran into Greg Ostertag. My two brothers were really excited. He apparently was really nice and asked me if he could have a cup (probably just to humor a lil 6yr old- I mean what else do you say to a 6 yr old hugging 25 used cups lol). I told him he couldn’t have a cup and hid behind my brother so he wouldn’t take one!

So sorry Ostertag, No Cup For You!

But I used to see Dre at the club EVERY weekend in DC. He’s maybe cool as a person but constantly going out??? He’s not good for the organization… He’s very immature and not dedicated to the game of basketball. So many articles on this guy not being committed. He became homeless and was sleeping at the Verizon Center at one point. Again he seems cool, but very immature. One day I hope he gets it, before its tooooooooooo late.
