 Hey folks, since I’m home from school for the summer and I sprained my ankle balling yesterday and I honestly don’t have a lot to do, I thought it would be a blast to try to throw together a fantasy draft where 15 users claim two NBA teams, then we re-draft the entire league.  Here’s the rules:

1) Players eligible for drafting include all players on NBA rosters, all players who were on an NBA roster at any time this year, all D-League players, and any conceivable free agent who would be looking to get back in the league (a la Drew Gooden before he signed with the WIzards).  NO PLAYERS FROM THE EUROLEAGUE OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE.  NO OFFICIALLY RETIRED PLAYERS.  NO ANDREW WIGGINS.  NO MICHAEL JORDAN.

2) Rounds 1 through3 will be held (tentatively) on Thursday at 3 Eastern/Noon Pacific.  We will do the remaining rounds later for time purposes.  I know this is ambitious.

3) You need to be present to make your pick and you will have a ten-minute time window to make your pick.  You could conceivably send me a pre-draft ranking if you can’t attend but that would be a very long list so idk. If you are not present, I will make a pick for you based off a combination of your team’s positional need and ESPN’s ranking of the best players in the NBA.

4) NO TRADING PICKS.

5) you may claim one or two teams.

5) Draft will be conducated in snake order (Spurs get 1st pick, 60th pick, 61st pick, etc.)

5) Comment below with the team or teams you want to claim.  I am claiming the Pacers and the Bobcats right now.

6) Draft Order will be based on best record to worst record, as such:

Or is it assumed every player will have their previous contract wiped and will receive a new contract upon being drafted, in which case I suppose their salaries would be scaled like in the real draft?
