slash787ParticipantWell Nikola Mirotic is far and away the best Euro stash player and it’s not close. Please keep in mind NBA rights held means these guys were drafted but are not currently in the NBA. It’s not a ranking of current international NBA players.
Also keep in mind I am not adding a guy like Rudy Fernandez or Juan Carlos Navarro because they already played in the NBA and basically have no interest in coming back. I’m not adding Fran Vazquez because he has also shown zero interest in playing in the NBA.
Dante Exum hasn’t been drafted he’s not on this list. I hope this makes it clear for everyone.
1. Nikola Mirotic
2. Lucas Nogueira
This is where it gets interesting and the debates can begin.
3. Bajon Bogdonvic – Should be in the NBA next year. He can shoot lights out. Probably a Linas Kleiza type player.
4. Sergio Llull – unlikely he ever plays in the NBA but if he does it will be fun to watch.
5. Ante Tomic – same as Llull
6. Livio Jean Charles – Spurs own him.
Lorbek?
I will let you guys tell me who I am missing. Help a brother out.

slash787ParticipantI should mention Tibor Pleiss. He is tearing it up. Not sure if he will ever play in the NBA though. Anyone have insight on him? I belive OKC owns his rights.

SiggyParticipantForgot about Tomas Satoransky. His rights are owned by the Wizards but he will likely won’t come over unless his rights are traded. He sees himself as a point and with Wall there, there isn’t much of an opportunity for him.

bloodis totaly different player then Kleiza.Only similarity is they are great shooters(Bogdanovic is elite shooter i must add)
I think Heat has his rights and he could help them big once ray ray retires.Mirotic is also very interesting,I would dare to say he’s poor mans dirk,he could average 14+ in his rookie season if given right mins.
Pleiss-If he ever comes to league I think he could develop to Splitter type of player, but even right now he isnt playing very much in Euroleague, and I think that he just doesnt have NBA mentality
And I will add one name who I think will make headlines in few years,he’s Jusuf Nurkic, born 1994,he’s currently most efficent player in Europe(he averages 10,5,2 in less then 20 mpg)He’s legit 7 footer with great post game and skill, very dominant rebounder and defensiive presence and also he has range,he can shoot from 3. His only problem is sometimes he gets in foul trouble too easy but I think that comes from the fact that he started playing ball very late.I think he can be starting C in league in 3-4 years.

King CaluchaParticipantThe other day I watched one of Mirotic’s games. This guy can definitely play… he does look like poor man’s Dirk, but he hustles a little more in defense (eventhough he’s not strong, either). I think he could make contributions similar to Ryan Anderson’s (with better post game) in very short time.

pohani komaracParticipantThere is funny story how Jusuf started to play basketball
-“You are a young player, but still one of the best centers of ABA League this season so far. This sounds amazing, given that you started playing basketball pretty late. How did that in fact happen?”
-” Even I don’t know exactly. Enes Trnovčević, mine and Omić’ agent is to be blamed for this. He got to know my father, who is a big man and is a police officer in Tuzla. When he saw him he asked him, whether he had a son and that’s how this “stupid” story began.”
-“But how did he meet your father in the first place? There is an interesting story about it…”
-” Yes, there was a fight, where my father beat 14 people at once. I was still young, didn’t see it, but it is the truth. My agent read about this in the newspaper, found my father and asked him to introduce his son to him.”
Jusuf started to practice i 2009., what’s more ipresing was that he was something like 5’10 i 2008. and since he reched 7’0 in 3 years you would expect he will be skiny and lack of cordination. But he is natrually strong as bull and very fast and agile. Once he prfects his skills and gets more expirance he can become one of top centers in world

hbomb3300ParticipantDoes anyone know what the time frame for Alex Abrines coming to NBA is? Has he talked about that at all?

SiggyParticipantI heard he wants to make his mark in the ACB first before he comes over. He’s getting over 20 minutes a game for a team that’s notorious for keeping their young kids strapped to the bench, so he’s off to a good start. I looked it up and see he has a big buyout for the next 2 seasons, so I wouldn’t expect him before then.

hbomb3300ParticipantThanks for the info, much appreciated. Wish I didn’t have to wait that long to see him in a Thunder uniform but it’s probably best since they already have so much young talent not getting minutes.

slash787ParticipantAny updates on these guys since December? Has anyone seen players separate themselves from the pack or any unknown guys make a name for themselves?

OhCanada-ParticipantThe Nando De Colo experiment didnt workout because of Patty Mills and Corey Joseph but he has played big minutes for Toronto in Lowrys absence most notably in wins against the then #1 team in the East Indiana and last team in the East Milwaukee.
