RobetSeanParticipantMy top 5
1. Dwight Howard -> Has there ever been a bigger crybaby in the NBA?
2. DeMarcus Cousins -> He should just shut up.
3. Lamar Odom -> Speaking of coach killers and crybabies, Odom certainly fits the bill as a prima donna.
4. Kobe Bryant -> He’s a big time prima Donna.
5. Paul Pierce -> That wheelchair thing was classic.0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/14/2012 - 6:53pm #728253

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHe’s a x2 NBA Champ, no exactly a prima donna.

NCarmean18ParticipantKobe is a 5x NBA champion and a 1st ballot Hall of Famer, but you didn’t say anything about him being on the list?
0- Posted on: Wed, 11/14/2012 - 8:38pm #728292

For_Never_EverParticipantPaul Pierce is a Champ too. I think he was finals MVP as well.
0- Posted on: Wed, 11/14/2012 - 8:41pm #728293

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnd what has Paul Pierce done that makes him a prima donna?
He stayed loyal with his team, teammates, management, and coaching staff. He never bad-mouthed or went on the media to talk bad about anyone. He keeps to himself, goes out and plays hard. He’s a teamplayer that wants what’s best for the team.
What has he done that makes him a prima donna?

For_Never_EverParticipantWade said Rondo didn’t make a basketball move when he close lined him in the first game of the 2012-13 season. But for him it was ok to knock Darren Collison to the floor in last years playoffs. When Indy celebrate after beating the heats he gets mad. I swear him and Lebron were dancing one time after beating boston. I also don’t like when he is flopping and doesnt get the call, he whines to the refs. You all know him and Lebron used flop all the time.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHow does a hit make someone a prima donna? Sure, you can say a dirty player but do you even know the definition of a prima donna?
Note: The Heat celebrated after beating the Celtics in a 7 game series, not after a simple game. And didn’t Wade go into overdrive and back up his talk by talking over the next couple of games against Indy? He proved himself on the court.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnd if disliking someone celebrating after a simple win makes you a prima donna then is Derrick Rose a prima donna too? He publically stated he disliked how the Pacers celebrated during the regular season after a win against the Bulls.
Does that mean Derrick Rose, the most humble star in the league, is a prima donna too?
0- Posted on: Thu, 11/15/2012 - 10:57am #728426

For_Never_EverParticipantJust because someone is a great player, doesn’t mean they can’t be a prima donna. Wade is pretty much untouchable now, but he complains constantly to the refs about phantom fouls.

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant1. Kobe has threatened to leave the Lakers 2 or 3 times in his career.
2. Kobe constantly throws his teammates under the bus.
3. He ratted on Shaq about cheating just because he got caught.
Wade has never done any of that. I mean, what exactly has Dwyane Wade done that makes him a prima donna? Because he teamed up with James and Bosh? Nobody disliked Wade during the 2009-2010 season and suddenly he’s one of the top hated players in the league.
Wade stayed with the team throughout tough times. He stayed with the Heat even when his best teammate was Shawn Marion. He stayed with the Heat when Pat Riley left and Erik Spoelstra showed he wasn’t ready to coach. He never makes excuses.
Exactly what has Wade done to make him seem like a prima donna?

For_Never_EverParticipantThat is a pretty good list, but I would replace Pierce with Wade. DeMarcus Cousins has been good, so he could rapidly drop out the list all together.

kingofbumsParticipanti would have agreed with carter BUT after hearing what sam mitchell said about carter wanting to stay in toronto changes my mind….at the same time though i feel like its a set up for carter to retire his number in tdot…especially cuz the news broke out right when he stated he wouldnt mind coming back to toronto to finish his career…someting seems suspicious.
regarding the list…i think dwade is only an on court "crybaby" but maybe not even…and off court he is a pro in every kind of way.
id say rondo should be on the list…oh and BOSH THIS GUY’S G** ANTICS ARE INSANE, HILARIOUS BUT JUST SO WRONG AT TIMES….cant forget his phony flop against the bulls pretending boozer hit him with an elbow and made a second delayed fall

kingofbumsParticipantwhat the hell man…? are you serious? he has a legit psychological disorder that 1/10 people are likely to have and you are bashing on him? it might seem like its something easy to get over because you arent scared of flying but for people like him its the most difficult thing in the world to get over…there are also different levels in the disorder some more extreme some less, so for the ppl who will say that they have the same shit but got over it shut up.
plus he plays his ass off each time he gets on the court i dont see why he should be placed on the list. have some respect

torontoraptors10ParticipantThat was really ignorant for you to say that. I suffered from anxiety and know exactly what he is going through. Maybe you should do your research about it instead of saying he is a prima donna.

IndianaBasketballParticipant1. Kobe Bryant
He’s the biggest prima donna in the NBA BY FAR. You know you’re a prima donna when you go out to dinner with your team and you sit at your own separate table.
2. Dwight Howard
Due to everything that went on with Orlando, he has to be high on this list. He wanted to be the superstar, coach and GM.
3. LeBron James
He left Cleveland as a free-agent, but he has a place on this list due to the Decision. Not even donating money to Boys/Girls Clubs could hide his inflated pride/ego of himself. "I’m taking my talents to South Beach."
4. Carmelo Anthony
I think he has a place on here considering how he handled his trade to the Knicks and then some of the issues he had in NY with D’Antoni. I believe he’s the primary reason D’Antoni resigned.
5. DeMarcus Cousins
So early in his career and he’s already on the list. He’s just a very undisciplined person and seems to have a hard time following direction. It looks like it’s like walking on egg shells around him.

its annoying
0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/15/2012 - 9:33am #728407
joecheck88Participant2 : a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team.
I don’t see how Kobe can be so successful and a prima Donna. This goes for Dwayne Wade, Paul Pierce, etc.
0- Posted on: Thu, 11/15/2012 - 10:34am #728418

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSome people here really just don’t know the definition of a prima donna yet they use the word.

BlakesanityParticipantWhat’s about Jose Calderon? I think he is a big time flopper.
