neg me if you want but I have not heard of any of those guys and I follow college basketball, and there is no way I am googling all of them. It would have been better if you just wrote about five so at least we could know more about them
Im kind of surprised that you have not heard of any of these guys, but obviously if you follow ball you will definitely hear from some of these guys. I'll give a quick rundown of a few of the higher profile guys for people in your boat.
Luke Hancock- Transfer from George Mason with two years of eligibility left at Louisville. Can play all three perimeter positions and Pitino said he will get time at all three. Im thinking he will put up something like 7ppg, 4rpg, 3apg. Solid 3 point shooter but is more of a jack of all trades guy.
Will Sheehey- Energetic junior for Tom Crean at Indiana. He can play the three and the four and will be the sixth man for the second straight year. Plays hard on every play and averaged 8ppg and 3rpg last season and improved in every statistical category including percentages.
Earnest Ross- Transfer from Auburn with two years of eligibility left at Missouri. Big bodied wing who can play 2, 3, 4. Is known for his toughness and slashing ability, but I watched both Mizzou exhibition games and this kid can stroke it from long range off the catch. Most likely will start at the 3, and ill say 10ppg and 5rpg.
Anthony Collins- Sophomore lead guard for USF. Was a huge reason for their success last year and is excellent at playing with a slow or fast tempo. Could average around 6-7apg this year. Was an okay outside shooter even though he has a horrific shooting form. Excellent FT shooter and penetrator.
there now at least I will know something about them and maybe be able to look for them. basically these are the guys that play key roles in college, but they are border line NBA quality. Thank you for explaining some, I assumed that you knew stuff about them, but it would have been a ton of work describing all of them.
That's how far under the radar these guys are. But I only know of Jio Fontan and Kevin Young, and that's because I worked as the strength and conditioning intern at LMU when Kevin Young was there so we had a relationship before he transfered to Kansas.
Good call on guys like Lenzelle Smith, Okaro White and Will Yeguette. I think all 3 of those guys are primed for breakout yrs.
one name - Jamil Wilson
Jaquon Parker is one of Coach Cronin's favorite players on the team. Will do what ever is asked of him and what ever it takes to win whether it be rebound, play D, hit 3's etc. Played the 1-4 last year and he's only about 6'3, 6'4. What many would call a glue guy.
I don't think Kevin Young is an NBA prospect, but he is a nice glue guy at the college level. A guy playing for the Jayhawks, right now, that is a big under the radar, but I believe is an NBA prospect is 6'6'' freshman shooting guard Andrew White.
