    This ain’t good news for you Wizards fans. Let’s hope for your sake he’s healthy this season. 

     

    Nene sat out the final game of pool play for Brazil on Monday with soreness in his left foot, but the Wizards have been monitoring the injury and remain optimistic that it will not be a problem when training camp begins on Oct. 2, according to a source with knowledge of the team’s thinking. Washington Post

    It’s plantar fasciitis, according to brazilian newspapers. He is expected to play against argentina.

    Spain wanted to tank the game and Brazil already secured a spot in the quarterfinals.  They will be underdogs the rest of the olympics. Smart to get rest for one of your top players when you can get it.

    This isn’t nothing major…man your worst then the media with this post. And if he is healthy the Wizards will still be in the lottery next season.
