 Kenndall Marshall at 6 is way to low even if they’re in need of a PG. With that pick they would take a Barnes, lamb or even Sully. They have the 11 pick so with that they take Marhsall (he should be on the board or next best PG – lillard. 

I also don’t see moultie falling to 17.

I like drummond to Cavs at no 3 as well.

I like this Mock. love Robinson at 4. I would take MKG over him.

Not to sure about Henson as well, 20 seems high, but with this loaded draft, there has to be a few good players slip to that 20 spot.

Actually Marshall at 6 is a little high not too low. They are in need of a point guard, but I think Marshall is the wrong type of point guard they are looking for. They need a scorer and a good defender at point. Marshall can score, but that not his best attribute. Passing is, but he most certainly cannot defend. Marshall needs to go to a team that is already very good defensively, that way he won’t so much of a liability defensively. The Bucks would be a good team for him, they might already Jennings but he might leave next year because he’s tired of loosing. He’s been on the team since 2009 and the Bucks still have about the same pick as when they drafted him. They drafted him with the 10th pick and now 3 years later, they have the 12th pick. That really isn’t that much better, yet you would expect that after 3 years they would get better. They have only made the playoffs once with him, but they couldn’t make it back afterwards. He has threatened leaving, so the Bucks need to get someone to replace him in case it happens. Marshall seems perfect for them. He would also be good for the Hornets at 10, but not for the Blazers at 11 and certainly not at 6.

The rest seems fine to me. Moultrie is fine at 17. He doesn’t try that hard. He quit on his team, midway through the year. What scout would want a player that quits on his team? I have him at 15 but I would not be surprised if he goes lower. Henson is not too high either. He might actually be a little too low at 20. Henson to me seems like a guy that will be a complete steal. Then again with this deep of a draft their are bound to be 3 or 4 steals in the first round. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Henson goes in the 20’s.

 I think it’s pretty good, outside of the Marshall pick.  Are you sure Josh Smith is going to be in this years’ class?  I’m not saying you’re wrong, I just haven’t heard anything about him coming out.

Okay I lied, there are two other things I see wrong. Why the heck is Beal in the top 3? I know the Cavs need him, but there is a fine line between picking for team need and picking the best player available. Sometimes its better to go for the BPA over team need, and sometimes its best to go for team need. Their really isn’t 1 strategy that is right fotr every team. It really depends on where you are picking, what players are available, and what needs you have. In that order. Meaning that the Cavs should probably go with BPA. Beal is really a middle of the pack kind of player. He is the best SG in this draft, but that doesn’t mean he should go top 3. Top 3 is reserved for players with a high potential. It would be considered a sin if the Cavs got a player like Beal when Drummond is still on the board. A player with that much potential simply cannot be passed up, especially when you have a top 3 pick. In the Cavs case it would be best to go with BPA instead of team need. Actually the Cavs have needs at every position except PG and PF, with so many needs its best to go BPA because you are bound to address those needs no matter what. Drummond is BPA.

Also for the same reason that Drummond should be in the top 3 because of so much potential, Rivers should be in the lottery. He wants to be the leader and can be the leader. There are so many teams in the lottery that need a leader or need to get a player with a lot of potential, because they are always stuck towards the end of the lottery and need to get over the hump. Picking someone with a lot of potential might be just what they need in order to do that. Rivers going to the Suns or the Rockets would look really good for either team, because it might get them over the hump because he can and wants to be a leader.

Those are two other things I see that need to be addressed as well as Marshall at 6. Again BPA over team need is the problem I see there.

I think Beal does have the talent to be a top 3 pick in this draft. Him MKG  and Drummond are interchangeable in my mind depending on draft need. Beal is the best SG in this class and SG is probably the weakest position in the league so to have a good SG is a great advantage.

same here. Beal to me is a top 3 pick and the only teams i see passing him up are questionably new orleans or sacramento. if the draft order is the way it is now, which we know it wont be, ive got washington taking beal at number 2. think he complements his game very well and has displayed a very mature game for his age. Beal has higher upside to me despite his height since he can still improve on shot even more as well as ball handling to create offense. he uses his strengths to the fullest and see him being a regular on the promising young players in the league through out his rookie contract.

as far as the mock goes, i also find Marshall taken too high on the draft. not that hes not a good player and wont be in the league or in toronto, but i feel they can better use their lotto pick on Jeremy Lamb. i really want to see Lamb play under casey and see if he can get Jeremy to live ip to his defensive potential. we all know his shooting will be very much well received over there. and since Marshall is more of a good fit pick than a best player available thing, i got him slipping all the way down to 20 for the Nuggets to select. I have a feeling that after work-outs are done, Tony Wroten would have jumped over Kendall on the guard rankings.
