New point system
I think i speak for a lot of users on here and say that just some people are cocky as &$#%#&@! and just plain full of themselves. I mean it was a funny catchy joke D Hamp to put in "D Hamp... the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway." in your signature, but I think to most people their just like Wow is this dude &$#%#&@! serious and their just sick of it.
Another thing on here is people saying read my mock this read my mock that. You know what if you honestly wanted to make one 1. Make a thread about it and see where it goes. or 2. If somebody wanted to check it out they would to see how out of line you are.
I'm really not the biggest fan of this system because I just think people abuse the hell out of it. Your not always right and 80/100 times most of you are wrong on your arguments with myself included. The websites about insight on the NBA Draft, NBA Game, and NBA Fantasy game. Anything beyond that is just past me.
If people wanted to take the point system serious they would, but It's not going to happen so honestly I don't give a &$#%#&@! what my positive/negative balance is. The people who post on this site know who I am and know my insight of sports from what I post and that's all that I really care about is just dropping a bunch of knowledge of the game I love with people who share similar interests.
Auber is exactly right.
Maybe the system could be changed to something where only Aran can give points or maybe give a limit to how many times a person can add or take away points per day/week?
I agree with the option of Aran being the only guy giving out points. Since we are on a kick of telling what we dont like about the site, i dont like all the different areas to post. I think there sould be three areas at the most. The Draft, The NBA, and Fantasy. This would keep some post from ever seeing the time of day. Thats my 2 cents, now someone take my points!!! lol
I think Auber's right, but just because D Hamp is a cocky @#$%#$#%^$@# doesn't mean people should abuse the point system , the point system wouldn't be so bad if people wouldn't abuse it out of spite. but hey I love this site I just became a member, but I been using it for insight since the Bobcats came into existance and just because some cats give me negative points anit going to stop me from posting!!!!
Hey guys,
The point sytem obviously needs some work. We will look at a number of different possible changes. We should have some alterations to the point system in the next couple days. I appreciate the suggestions.
Thanks Aran. Lookin foward to an improved system. Any hints as to what the next one will be like?
That's pretty straight Aran. I think an idea of the author who posted the thread should be able to give and take points. If that's the case though I'm never posting on a Btown thread regardless of the temptation.
It's not that people don't like you, I actually like having someone come on here and talk about some college guy that I don't know that much about. The difference is that you are CONSTANTLY asking if people like you or not, which is weird, and like Auber said you act a bit childish. But, hell even if you are a child I don't have a problem with you posting on the site (not that I have ANY say in it at all, that's all on Aran) but starting a new thread CONSTANTLY talking about some guy who will be lucky to ever make an NBA roster, over and over again, just annoys some people.
Because of you, my mock is forever screwed up too. I kid you not, I am going to try to reboot my computer, but until then it is stuck the way it is now. Check it out, I think that you will like it.

I'm not trying to cause any problems with anyone, but what's up with the new point system on this site. I had 35 points about two hours ago and now I have -69. Really! I've observed this with many users on this site. Either everyone dislikes all of mine and several others opinions or some people are getting really carried away. Let's not take the fun away. Just my two cents.
D Hamp... the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.
