I’m pretty sure that Andre Miller is not returning, this is my ideal sixers line-up

Pg- Lou Williams, (rookie back-up), Ivey
Sg- Iguodala, Kapono, (rookie back-up)
Sf- Thaddeus Young, Iguodala, Donyell Marshall
Pf- Elton Brand, M16 (Speights), Chris Wilcox.
C- Dalembert, Jason Smith

Ok here are some explanations.

PG- I beleive Lou Williams deserves a chance at the starting role considering how much he has improved over the years. Many people say the rookie should start and I am not for that. As for the rookie, I’ve heard rumors Brandon Jennings could fall to us at #17. I would much rather have him then Maynor or Lawson. Ivey is pretty good and I think he could log a few more minutes than last year.

SG- Iggy’s going to have to step it up this year and work on his 3-point shooting. I know he’s capable of playing the 2. He is bigger than most 2 guards so he will have a great advantage. Kapono will likely be 6th man moving Iggy to the SF. As for the the rookie, although they don’t have a 2nd round pick, i’d love for them to trade for a guy like Jack Mclinton or Jodie Meeks. As for Willie Green, I’d like him to be released.

SF- Young will be a very nice player at the SF, although we haven’t seen what he’s capable of at that position. I would love for them to re-sign Marshall too. Once Young comes out of the games, Iggy can play the SF.

PF- Not much new here other than a free agent signing of Chris Wilcox. This is an insurance pickup if Brand gets injured really. Wilcox is a great rebounder and would be good energy off of the bench.

C- I almost had Smith starting, but I guess they’ll give Dalembert one more shot at starting.

if jennings fell that far i think philly would love to have him. i think lou is a real good 6th man but they could try him out at starting 1. somebody posted an interesting trade earlier. it was brand and green to chicago for hinrich and ty thomas. and adding wilcox to that would be scariest young team in the league. what you think?

Iggy plays SG when hes on the court. And Thad really does play the 3.
I dont like Chris Willcox on the team. He trys to do too much. We need
to develope Mo Spots(M16). Then there is no way hes going to get better
play 5 – 10 min a game.

Willie Green should be realsed or traded on draft night for that 2nd round
pick. That we would use on a SG(maybe christmas).

I like Willie Green but I wouldnt be against trading him for the 2nd round pick and getting Christmas though. I would really be happy if Jennings fell, I dont know what I would do lol. And did I miss something? Does Wilcox play for the sixers now?

hopefully that rumored trade comes true. (dalembert and the 16th pick for radmanovic, mohammed, and the 12th pick)

starting lineup for next year: (with trade, and assuming andre miller leaves)
Center – Mohammed, Smith, Ratliff
Power Forward – Brand, Young, Speights
Small Forward – Kapono, Radmanovic, Marshall
Shooting Guard – Iguodala, Green, Rush
Point Guard – Williams, and whoever they get with the 12th pick (Jennings, Flynn, Evans, Teague, Holiday)

Sammy is not consistent enough to be our starter so I would do this trade in a heartbeat because M16 can then start and we will be able to get one of these guys at 12: Flynn, Jennings, Teague, or Lawson. Worst case prolly Holliday and that is not a bad worst case pick lol.

PG: Lou/12 pick
SG: Iggy/Willie
SF: Thad/Kapono
PF: Brand/Smith
C: M16/Nazr

That is a much better lineup then we put out there last year so I would be happy with that.
