Nobody thinks Bird is a racist. That’d be dumb.

However, I think he has overreached on average white players since the brawl occured. No… He hasn’t drafted a lot of white players, but he has acquired quite a few via trades and free-agency. That’s not because he’s racist though. It’s because he’s grown too image conscience. He’s trying to find players fans in Indiana, a primarily white state, will “relate” to in hopes that they’ll start coming to the games again. What he needs to realize… Is that nobody cares about that sh*t. We just want W’s.

IF he drafts Hayward, nobody will respect him. Hayward is NOT who we need. IF Bird drafts Hayward, it will only be because of the status Hayward has gained around here and because Bird thinks that’ll be good for majority of the fan base.
