Mr. 19134ParticipantInteresting. I know a lot of rappers in Philly and it’s a tight community mostly everybody who raps and has come from Philly either knows each other, has worked with each other, or has dissed each other. But I’ve never heard of these guys and it makes me wonder if they’re really from Philly because every Philly artists is going to shout out their hood in atleast one line, and street names ect and they don’t.
But I love the soundscapes they use it’s reminiscent of J.Dilla and old school Roots. All the beats are amazing. They’re lyrics aren’t bad, they got nice structure to them but they only average cadences. It’s really generic but then again so is most rap. Also the white dude Twist?…He sounds just like Reed Dollarz in his voice pitch but his rhyme schemes are set up just like Mac Millers. I wonder if this was intentional it’s not a bad mix actually and everybody loves Reed’s voice.
