KevinDurantRocksParticipantDoes he return to La? Would Miami really trade Beasley for Odom? That wouldn’t be a bad young pick up for La but i wouldn’t take Josh Howard

TyroberParticipantOdom gets to choose where he goes and hes not picking miami. hes a free agent and if he doesnt want a sign and trade then its not happening. my money says he ends up back in LA, and either the lakers are the favorites to win it all again but with the spurs and celtics right behind them

TyroberParticipantMiami is not trading beasley either. hes going to be an absolute stud once he learns how things are run in the nba. if they sign a legit big man next season and hopefully they could keep oneal for the midlevel except then they’ll be good to go

doubledribblerParticipantI kind of agree with KevinDurantRocks. It looks like something ESPN made up. First of all, he could sign with either team straight up. If a team wants to do a sign and trade that is up to the Lakers and if they get something they want or could use. I really don’t see the Lakers having a use for Beasley or Howard since they just signed Artest. Both are probably geared best for playing the 3. If they do lose Odom to the Mavs that is going to be a big blow to the Lakers. They will still be a tough team, especially if their bench decides to wake up after sleeping through all of last season and Andrew Bynum can regain some of his skills, but that’s a big if on both parts. I do think that if the Mavs sign Odom that they definitely won’t have to have a traditional center just because they will have a lot of above average rebounders in Marion, Odom, Nowitzki, and in Kidd.
