nick5354ParticipantLet’s try and keep this forum the only one so we don;t have about 3 different one’s discussing the game.
I have Heat to win by 5. I am rooting for an LBJ historic game 4 to keep the heat from going down 3-1 and almost certain elimination (no team has ever come back from 3-1 down in the finals). I mean, who doesn’t love a historic playoff moment, I know I do.
He needs to come out aggressive, none of this sit back and pass to wade and bosh to try and get them going too much. He needs to get to the strip.
I am excited, this is a massive game for the heat. Cannot wait to see who will take the game over and say it is my time.

llperezWade can pull up for the 17-20 footer every single time down if he wanted, they are giving it to him. I mean the spurs started splitter on him lol. Of course splitter went full retard the first minute and turned the ball over in the first 2 seconds then bit on an obvious wade pump fake giving up 2 ft’s and got yanked 40 seconds into the game.

BruinSteveParticipantThe spurs are closing off the paint and forcing lebron to make jumpshots. His jumpshot has looked good all year but he has lost all confidence this series. Danny Green the 5th option on the Spurs has 6 more points in the first 3 games, that is unacceptable for a 4 time MVP and future top 5 player ever.

The space Wade is getting is insane.

llperezHeat attacking the paint hard. No indecisiveness on their part all. Not messing around. Duncan needs to get more involved, didn’t see him do anything that first quarter.

B-ball fanParticipantSo Chris Bosh can drive to the rim when there is obviously no time to get there, but he can’t at any other point in the game?
Big half for SA. They overcame some very good defensive stretches and some really aggressive play by the Heat and tied the game. The Spurs have just made all the timely runs in this series. They have just been absurdly good at the end of quarters.
It is still anyone’s game, as the rims weren’t kind to the Heat and they still shot really well from the field. The Heat probably got better shots than the Spurs for most of the game if all things were equal, but the Spurs have shown throughout this series it may be impossible to equal their shooting, so the Heat may have to just dominate the other areas of the game to win. The floor spacing is incredible. The Heat have really quick rotations and impact defenders in LeBron and Wade, but the Spurs still got some good looks against them.

rjb241ParticipantDuncan Just knows how to use his body to absolutely wear out the guy guarding him, watch him lean in the guy in the post. Hes sure not that athletic but hes gotta be the smartest Big ive seen play the game. Always with the fundamentals, using the glass, using picks, getting the position he wants. Growing up I always liked KG and Shaq and guys that could just posterize dudes at any given moment. I never woulda thought he’d still be puttin in work like this at this age. as much as i hope he loses, Duncan is one of the best bigs ill ever see

B-ball fanParticipantI can’t remember the last time every member of the Heat’s Big 3 played this well. It seems like Bosh hasn’t had a good game like this in forever and Wade and James have had a really good combined game on both ends of the floor, which hasn’t always been the case. Miami needs more of this to win the series.

rjb241Participantyeah ive watched every game of the playoffs. this is hands down the best ive seen wade play. He actually looked like…………DWade. His jumper was dropping which is something that i felt just left him. He was attacking the rim with explosion. Finally they all 3 played well together, when they do their very very difficult to beat, its just been rare.
a couple other notes i wanted to touch on, Kawhi Leonard is a beast, ive always liked the kid and knew he was a terrific defender but wow, how good can he rebound???? he plays SF and pulls down a ton, he led the team w/ 7 tonight but he had like 11 at the half in game 3. Im just really impressed w him and how BIG hes been. They dont make it here without him (i wonder how well he would do w/o them, as in another team) what an absolute steal to get this guy in the draft.

drice4life1753ParticipantIt really is getting old that w/ 2:40 left in Game 4 of the NBA FINALS that the Spurs already had their entire bench and manu on the court for over a minute. I mean c’mon 12 point deficit w/ almost 3 minutes to play is not a stretch at all…this is the NBA. Parker is judgment call, but Duncan, Spliter, Green, Neal all out??? Good game that had it’s ups and downs but I would like to see a solid finish since Game 1.

omphalosParticipantThoughts on the game:
– Splitter is a shell of his former self; he’s completely dispirited out there, getting blocked at will.
– Wade finally decided to say “f#ck it, I’m still an All-Star” and shake off his second banana mindset.
– Battier once again with numerous flops, really starting to dislike him.
– Game was called a lot tighter, which can only suit Miami.
– Duncan needed to be more involved offensively.
– Pop lost this game by sitting Duncan and Parker at the start of the 4th.
– Joseph still has a long way to go, completely unprepared for the role of back-up PG, Pop should give Mills some minutes, at least he won’t crumble under pressure.
– Manu playing ridiculously bad.
– Spurs completely gave up on attacking the offensive glass, shouldn’t have tried to play small-ball with Miami and just played big inside.Frustrating game to watch to say the least.
