Official All-Star Night Thread
Really not digging this West/East format. These times are crazy ;/ cannot see East beatting that.
James White can't even handle the ball down the open court to make his dunk. SMH
They seriously need to go back to only allowing 1 miss. This is &$#%#&@! ridiculous. So uninteresting.
Agreed.
Do people like Kenny Smith even watch any of the games at all...Did I hear him botch James White and Gerald Greens names then call Green one of the best young players in the league
they need to put a restriction on missed attempts... allowed two missed dunks and that's it.... seriously annoying as hell.... wheres the 2011 contest when u need it?
Didn't think Terrence Ross would beat out both Gerald Green and James White
LMAO at Charles..
Chuck: It would be more impressive if he didn't hang on the rim
Shaq: You mad because you can't hang on the rim?
Chuck: You broke a couple of rims in your day, with your fat ass
I think it would be more interesting if the TNT crew officially rated the dunks as they comment.
The fact that Jeremy Evans is in the finals is a travesty.
That Terrence Ross dunk was barely worth an 8, let alone a 10.
That Gerald Green dunk would've been amazing, he eventually got it, but that was an incredibly difficult dunk, would've liked to see him get it in the 2 minutes.
These judges are giving 50s for everything.
Jeremy Evans is nice but Gerald Green and Ross to me are the ones who can really throw it down, too bad Green didn't make it. Bledsoe is filthy too. And Westbrook and Lebron would make these guys look like scrubs.
Charles Barkley is the only thing entertaining about this dunk contest. I was looking forward to this dunk contest to be a good one too. I don't like this east west format for the dunk contest either. I rather see Bledsoe go against Ross
Can Evans do a dunk without a prompt smh
No way was this one better then the one were Javale went off.
Maybe not dunk for dunk with JaVale but at least we saw one good dunk from each guy rather than all the good dunks coming from one, like JaVale. Although he was completely robbed.
Two of my favorite players came out winners today. Kyrie and Ross
Gerald Green had me pissed! He shouldve just made a real good dunk and survived. I wanted to see him in the final round. I think he and ross were the best two contestants. Next year the East vs West think has to go because you can have the top three dunkers all in one conference, meaning one will be in the finals against someone who doesnt deserve it. James White can still jump, but he's not the same. I expected it though, he's way heavier than he was in his dunk contest days. Jeremy Evans shouldnt have been in the finals, but his finals dunks were impressive.
Final thoughts: Evans shouldve had a dunk-off with Bledsoe and Faried to advance because he only won by 1point. I thought the judges wouldve made sure his score equals their score since it wasnt a clear-cut winner.
Fans pick the winner? I've never liked that idea. The more popular player usually gets the pick
Okay that was a pretty cool painting by Jeremy Evans... not a spectacular dunk though.

I'm pumped up, this is my favorite night of All-Star weekend, I hope it'll live up to the hye.
The Shooting Stars competition is about to start, I think I'm gonna go with Team Westbrook, can't go against Big Shot Rob.
These Young PGs look nervous as hell, Tony Parker was the only one who smiled.
