Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThis team wow’s me.. is how good this team can be.. Listen guys, we’re not looking at some team that can win 5 years from now, we’re looking at a team that can win it this year.. And if they don’t, they’ll only be 5 times better next year. They are building a DYNASTY in OKC. I’m sure Durant and Russell will NEVER leave OKC, and I’m not too sure about Green.
They have 4 draft picks, 2 in the first round, 1 in the early 2nd round.
They can easily get a solid backup center and a solid backup for Durant which is all they need.
PG: Maynor
SG: Harden
SF: None
PF: Ibaka
C: CollisonNot only that.. They have about 15m cap room. With that kind of room. They can easily draft these players this offseason:
Tyson Chandler
Josh Howard
Channing FryeNow look at this team:
Westbrook
Sefolosha
Durant
Green
Chandlerthe bench:
Maynor
Harden
Howard
Ibaka
FryeAnd I haven’t even inputted the rookies they can draft aswell!
They can draft 2 of these guys late 1st round:
Eric Bledsoe
Daniel Orton
Lance Stephenson
Soloman Alabi

R-Dot-13ParticipantHoward starting at hte 2 would be great
Westbrook-Howard- KD-Green/Ibaka- Chandler
Now thats a team..

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThat’s a nasty good team isn’t it.
Can you say DEFENSIVE MONSTER?
Howard is a very good on ball defender, as well as Westbrook, we all know about Ibaka and Chandler.0 - Posted on: Fri, 04/30/2010 - 4:25pm #300379

llpereztyson chandler is not a free agent unless you are saying they should trade for him. Im not sure they have 12 million in salaries that charlotte would want.

festar35ParticipantThe team is amazing. Don’t forget that Nenad used to be an elite big-man in the league and it looks as though he is slowly returning to that form.

llperezyeah, that aint happening. He wouldnt get half that which is why no one is really considering him a free agent.

IndianaBasketballParticipantWords like “elite bigman” should never go in the same sentence as Nenad lol.
He was a good offensive player in New Jersey, but he was never elite.

R-Dot-13ParticipantThe thunder needs a pure shooter.
Someone that can get open looks when Durant and Westbrook have the ball.
Harden and Green just havent hit the jumpers in the series..

fastdanParticipantHoward is a bum, is coming off a torn ACL, and OKC doesn’t run with a backup SF. The Thabo/Harden combo has the potential to to be deadly with a mix of defense and offense.
Not sure why they would go after Frye…he’s a jump shooting center who doesn’t like to bang, and if you guys just watched the series vs the Lakers you would see that thats the opposite of what they need.
Haywood will be resigned with Dallas.

NYFan04ParticipantWhat do you guys think about them drafting Pittman the big from Texas. That would give them some beef and if they could get him to buy into the big picture (focus on D and rebounding) I think it could work.

—ButlerBulldogs said exactly what I was thinking LOL
I really do think the Thunder should take Stanley Robinson if they can in the draft. He’s a decent shooter, an explosive athlete, and he’s a nice defender. I think he can be a Jamario Moon type backup. Would be a nice player to have behind Durant.

GreenLanternParticipantDon’t forget Joel Pryzbilla will be a free agent too and would provide the shot blocking and rebounding OKC needs. The thing is Portland will probably resign him and there may not be that much interest for a guy who injured his knee twice in one season.
