Which of the Olympic NBA prospects did the most to improve their stock?

    Draft:

Ricky Rubio PG (Spain)  —  Great defender, amazing composure, team player, feel for the game…  Can he shoot?

Patty Mills PG (Australia) —  Blinding speed (Paul couldn’t  stay in
front of him), great shooter…  Size concerns (5-11?), positions
concerns, is he a true point guard?

Joe Ingles SF (Australia) — Solid size/length/athleticism. Plays hard, good skills… Strength aggressiveness?

Tim Ohlbrecht PF (Germany) — Good size/athlete… Appeared overwhelmed. Intensity, heart?

Chen Jianghua (China) — Played about 1 minute against team USA.
Talented athlete, great speed. Can he play controlled effective
    basketball at the PG position?

    NBA:

Rudy Fernandez (Spain) — Joining Portland. Excellent athlete, solid
shooter, passing ability…  Will he be quick to adjust to NBA? Is
    strength an issue?

Marc Gasol (Spain) — Joining Memphis. Great size 7-foot, toughness,
good skill level. A number of NBA guys complimented him after the first
match up. pick 47 obviously too low after receiving a top 10 pick
salary…  Can he improve body, quickness to be a true impact player?

Hamed Haddadi (Iran) — Great size 7’2. Solid
touch. Decent skill level. Interesting prospect… Lacks great speed. Will foreign
relations derail NBA chances? NBA waiting for government approval
before allowing teams to sign him.

I agree that Rubio is an erractic shooter, but has good overall feel for his position at such tender age, free throw shooting is up, so he has great posibilities in improving mindrange shooting.

i think Rubio’s assist will be high in nba due to his passing ability, its the closest guy to Steve Nash in the last drafts.

I think Hamed could be a good reserve center and Gasol has good potential to be a true center unlike his brother…

Any team that gets this guy is seriously lucky and has a good future ahead of them. He is a true point guard because he showed signs of being able to pass. Size doesn’t matter anymore in the nba. He can drive like Rondo.

With Hamed, the Iranian center has drawn alot of interest at the Utah held summer league, where he seemed to outplay both Kosta Koufos and Fesenko from the Jazz. Leading the Olympics in rebounds and blocks, a lot of NBA teams are probably going to make a run on Hamed now that he is cleared to play in the NBA.

Gasol is much of a better defender than his own brother Pau, so he should do fine in the NBA.

I think Patrick Mills could turn out to be a Solid NBA Prospect once he decides to turn pro, I love his blinding quickness. He was getting by most of the NBA guys in the Olympic games I saw!

He is going to be a star, just wait and see he just has to improve his court vision and shooting, but besides that from what I saw he could be a star in this league.

I think this Kid could be a superstar, he has great passing for a 6’8. I saw one game were he dished off about 6 assits in 3 minutes and is a great shooter as well and can get to the ring easily. Has a very quick first step, i think this Kid has potential of Lebron James. No Joke! i think he could be the best pick 59 ever.

Patty Mills has the goods. He is a true PG that can also score when required. He does what is necessary for his team to win. and that is arguably his greatest gift – he has that “I want to win” attitude and will do whatever it takes. Plenty of heart and a great all-round team player. And yes, he can drive like Rondo. The NBA is a man-on-man isolation league, and with his blinding quickness, who can stop him if Chris Paul can’t and DWill can stay in front of him? On the right team, could be a solid NBA starter for 10 years.

Joe Ingles is an interesting prospect. At 6″8, he has good size for the SF position and could switch over to play some SG if required. Has good range and is a consistent shooter. Has a body similar to Tony Kukoc and plays a bit the same way, although Ingles does like to throw it down in the paint. Has the potential to be a solid backup SF in the NBA at best. Still needs to toughen up and put on more weight. Has improved his defence considerably over the past 12 months.

Ingles is my boy…i wanna see him in the league.

Rubio will be the New Nash….He just needs time. I think by the end of next season were gonna see 20pts 10ast performances.

Mills. Underrated. I think he could move into the mid late to lottery consideration.

well if he goes West…no D…he could…Mike Conley had like 20 20pt games near the end of the season last year…

Also…Does anyone notice that Oden and Conley are struggling apart after they thrived together in HS and College?
