The only option for Blake Griffin

Refuse to play for the clippers is the only choice for him. The clippers will kill his game. They already have camby, camen, Randolph and dandre Jordan, al thorton who slides to the four.

BOYCOTTTTT

I totally Agree....Unless they Do Trades, I suggest him to boycott the clippers lol....but real talk i think the clipps should trade for a lower draft pick and get some nice players some "role"players rather than "Wannabe Superstars"....*Cough* Zach Randolph...

It's interesting because the

It's interesting because the Clippers are loaded with talent in their starting 5, but have a really bad bench.

At poward foward they already have Zach Randolph, who although he was injured for part of the season, averaged 20 and 10 for them. They also have Marcus Camby who got some burn at PF and C, and Kaman, who has been the topic of many trade discussions. Another guy who has been talked about a lot is Baron Davis, who many feel isn't the answer for the Clippers at PG. Is there a possibility they could dump Davis and trade down to get Rubio?

I think they should either keep the pick, take Griffin and trade Randolph and Davis for a better PG, or trade down for Rubio and trade Davis. Either way, they have to get rid of Davis. lol

If they take Griffin

If they take Griffin (although he should boycott), that really changes the rest of the draft. Who does Memphis take at 2 for instance.

The Clips need....

to draft Griffin and somehow get rid of Kaman. Have Camby start at the 5 and Randolph could also start at the 4 and bring Griffin off the bench. Sooner or later one of the bigs will once again be injured and then Griffin won't have as much pressure and they can slip him into the starting lineup. Eric Gordon at the 2, B-Diddy at Point, and Thorton at the 3. Sounds fine. He shouldn't have it too hard and it lowers the expectation for him and that should help him. We all know how big men have had their fare share of trouble after being highly rated before playing a game. CoughKwameOdenCurryCough and plenty others.

Memphis....

should take Rubio. Then they'd really have some depth and young talent. In case Conley struggles Rubio can come off the bench. I like this team for the future with Rudy Gay, O.J. Mayo, Marc Gasol, Iran dude, Arthur, Conley, Darko, and Rubio. They don't have anyone at the 2 besides Mayo so they could go small with Rubio or Conley...unless Greg Buckner is seriously considered an NBA Player. :) No Offense. Haha. I just think it'd be smart for them to draft Rubio or maybe trade down? They can't take a big with the ones they already have and i'm sure some team will want the 2nd Pick to get Rubio. Think Sac-Town, Bucks, or Phoenix. Who knows how bad they might want Rubio. Just some thoughts, may seem crazy.

Blake Griffin has too much

Blake Griffin has too much class to boycott, if clippers are smart they'll do what is needed to accommodate him or prove their the worst organization in basketball.

Conventional wisdom would say that the Kings would be vying to trade up to 2 for Rubio. That's probably the best they can do, because after Griffin, Rubio and Thabeet, there aren't really any players who fill a need that would be considered decent value at 4 unless Jonny Flynn's or Brandon Jennings's stock rise to top-5 value. They have to trade up or down.

And Griffin isn't going to pull an Eli Manning. Nor should he. Yeah, Dunleavy is the worst coach in the league for the worst organization in the league (apologies to Memphis), but being the number 1 pick is too prestigious to turn down. The top 5 should look something like this:

1. Clippers--Blake Griffin
2. Kings (f/ Grizzlies)--Ricky Rubio
3. Durant's Future Former Team (any Bill Simmons fans out there?)--Hasheem Thabeet
4. Grizzlies (f/ Kings)--Jordan Hill
5. Wizards--James Harden

Its so easy to say trade Zach and BD...

But the actual question is "WHO" will trade for them? With majority of teams in a finacial crisis, who would take overpaid ex-clippers? The 20 and 10 stat is probably the most OVERRATED stat in the league because those players fade out quick and can't stop a single person... So my guess, they are stuck with BD and Randolph for at least another year... The only people they can trade is either Kaman or Camby... They love Camby and refuse to trade him, so Kaman is gone... Don't see them trading this pick (since the dude at the lottery had on a 23 jersey under his suit)... And as a man who wouldn't want to get drafted to L.A.? (I understand its the Clipps)... Blake has a great Vet in Camby to learn from and what I've been reading he's a work horse... They have a good team on paper and just need a better coach... If I'm Griffin I would love the chance to go to either 1,2, or 3... This is a lock, we should talk about who should the Grizz and OKC pick...
