This or that
Are we adding it all together to be one super player??
Or just picking 1 of each
Lebron
Yao
Ray
Dirk
Nash
Kobe- One of the only skills in b-ball you can't teach.
Yoa- yoa can just shoot it over and dunk it on anyone he wants. strength is good but height is better.
Ray- All-time leader in 3s. Nuff said.
Dirk- Has the toughestshot to defend in basketball.
Nash- The ability the make EVERYONE on your team is invaluable. Not that rose can't do this but nash's passing is unbelievable.
taking the role of Memphis_tyga by making these fun threads now to answer lol. But I'll play along
1) Kobe's killer instinct - highlights are great but game winners go a long way in your legacy
2) Shaqs strength - 7'6" and being injury free would be ideal but lets face it, once you get 7'3" or above, you're going to put yourself in risk of injuries and being too tall will catch up eventually. Shaq's strength is crazy!
and that was when he was on the decline lol
3) Ray Allen's jumper - It's so sweet I get cavities every time I see him shoot. Again, highlights are great and Iggy is a tremendous defender but Ray has the best jumper of ALL TIME
4) Dirk's offensive game - Over the past few years, I've lost a lot of respect for KG because he picks on players smaller than him but backs away when a player like Dwight gets in his face. He's a good defender but Dirk proved that he can carry his team to a chip with his offensive moves by himself. Ask the Miami Heat for
) D-Rose's speed - Very tough question because Nash is my boy and he's a magician when he makes impossible passes. But Rose's speed is ridiculous. Mix that with his athleticism and its a wrap. His change of speed may be the best in the league IMO
haha nah, this is a one time thing on this or that, I saw no one was making threads and it was kind of dead so i thought i might post something to get it started again. Memphis_tyga is great at these types of things hopefully he gets on and makes some more.
Kobe's killer instinct- it's what makes a go to player a 'real' go to player
Shaq's strength- partly because i've seen the issues that great height can lead to with injuries, and party because shaq's strength allowed him to do almost anything he desired within 13 feet.
Ray Allens jumper- i don't consider iggy's game completely all round because his shot isn't great, but he is a lockdown defender. Ray allens form on his jumper is consistant and the shot is accurate, a shooter for the ages.
Dirks offensive game- something just intrigues me about all those post moves and counter moves as well as a 7 footer just being able to drop out to the three and drain them. His turnaround jumper is difficult to defend, accurate as hell, and a bit pretty. Garnetts defensive presence is amazing, but the skills dirk has are rare for someone that big and i prefer dwight howards defensive presence to garnetts.
Steve's vision- because thats the quality i hold in high esteem for point guards, D-rose is insane, but i would pick court vision over speed, unless i can have d-Roses speed and his court vision...
"Arena's bank account, Oden's potential, and Roys knees haha"
with Eddy Curry's appetite, Yao's feet, Stephon Marbury's mental stability, Shaq's charisma and Charles Barkleys attitude

don't forget Kwame brown's stone hands
I'll go with Cardinals custodial powers
And Perhaps some Chris Bosh velociraptor dreads? http://www.flickr.com/photos/drewchapman/4762507669/
Kobe's - No question. That instinct is the difference between kobe and everybody else
Shaq's - i dont wanna be 7'6 and being strong is always good.
Iggys - Because i pick dirk's offensive game, and dirk already has a good shot, now i have a better all around game.
Dirks - Great offensive player
Nash's - I'm a point guard.
1. Lebron Athleticism or Kobe's killer instinct- Kobe killer instinct
2. Yao Ming's height or Shaq's strength- Shaq's strength
3. Iggy all around game or ray allens jumper- Ray Allen's jumper
4. Dirk's offensive game or KG's defensive game- Dirk's offense
5. Drose's speed or Steve nash's vision- Rose's speed.
Kobe(Like someone else stated before, killer instinct is the one thing you cant learn. LBJ's athleticism only gets him so far. Ultimately its HIS lack of killer instinct that stop him from being a champ)
Shaq(Has had the better career due to his strength. scored at will. for all of yao's height, he still didn't intimidate ike the diesel in his prime)
Ray(Iggy is one of my favs, but Ray's J can single handedly win games.Think how many times he pulls 40 and 50 just with jumpers)
Dirk(unless its 08 then ill take KG's D)
Nash(Making ppl better is STILL the best thing for a PG to do)
Shawn Kemp dunking or VC dunking
yao's height on the court rather than Shaq's strentgh. But i would not want to be 7'6 walking around town, but i guess i wouldn't want to be shqs 7'1 etheir.
1. Lebron Athleticism or Kobe's killer instinct - Kobe's killer instinct
2. Yao Ming's height or Shaq's strength - Shaq's strength
3. Iggy all around game or ray allens jumper - ray allens jumper
4. Dirk's offensive game or KG's defensive game - tie
5. Drose's speed or Steve nash's vision - tie
Bosh's extra long neck or Dallas Lauderdale's huge eyes?
Superhead's mouth skills or Steve Nash's ball handling skills? Wait a minute, maybe Superhead can do both...
HAHAHAHA!!!!!! That was &$#%#&@! great. I'm having very deep issues w/ my gf who is carrying my unborn child today , so i've naturally been very down today/tonight, but that definitely helped give me a moment of joy. THANK YOU , RUDE! +1
1. Lebron Athleticism or Kobe's killer instinct - I would take Lebron's athleticism, his entire game is based on his athleticism and he tore the league up again during the regular season for like the 5th year in a row. I know he has a lot of haters, but when he actually learns offensive skills like a midrange game, 3pt shot, and post game he will be absolutrly ridiculous)
2. Yao Ming's height or Shaq's strength - Definately Shaq's strength, he is one of the most powerful men I have ever seen in my life (like top 3-5, with only the strongmen competition dudes beating him) and he used it to abuse the league for over 15 years.
3. Iggy all around game or ray allens jumper - Ray Allens jumper its just so pure
4. Dirk's offensive game or KG's defensive game - If this is KG in his prime I would pick his defense because he was one of the finest defensive players ever and I will always believe defense wins championships.
5. Drose's speed or Steve nash's vision - Nash's vision, hes one of my favorite players and his vision is the best aspect of his game.
6. Tony Parker's new bachelor life or Gilbert Arenas' bank account? Gils bank account for sure 175 mil baby
7. Anthony Randolph's potential or Greg Oden's potential? AR15s talent for sure, if he ever got his head straight he would be amazing
8. Brandon roy's knees or greg oden's? Roys knees, Roys still able to play on his kness while Oden has suited up more times in Armani and CK then in an actual blazers uni.
@ Gotta Feed- I understand where you're coming from with the IDEA that LBJ's talent level catching up to his athleticism, but when you're 26 coming up o 27 , have 7 years of experience and still have not developed your game one bit save for a still streaky 3 ball, you eventually gotta call a spade a spade and accept that he probably won't develop al of that. Even with the moves, his footwork is very mechanical. I just don't really ever see him fully developing the rest of that stuff. After all, wasn't he quoted as saying the thing he worked most on in the offseason WAS his post game and that &$#%#&@! looked horrendous STILL. Great athlete without a killer instinct=LOSER. For all of the talk about it being a big 2, Bosh outplayed LBJ on the biggest stage.
@iguapops420 I totally agree with you LBJ's offensive skillset is very under developed and really its a shame becuase hes a rare athlete and could absolutly dominate the league if he learned how to shoot more consistently and/or became willing to post people up. As a basketball fan I hope one of these years he puts huge work in during the summer and becomes the player we all wanted him to become, but as for right now I guess we just have to deal with 25-7-7.
1. Lebron's athleticism: Just at another level. Eddie House has a killer instinct too, but isn't a good enough player to star. Kobe isn't good because he can make 25% of boatloads of game winning attempts, he is good because he is an incredible shooter with great ball handling, footwork, and good, once elite, athleticism, to go along with an aggressive scoring attitude.
2. Shaq's strength: When you get too tall, you tend to lose coordination and get injury prone.
3. Iguodala's all around game: That is pretty all encompassing, and ensures that you are a good player, as valuable as Allen's jumper is
4. Dirk's offensive game: Would rather be dominant offensively than defensively, team's live with defensively deficient players more than with offensively deficient ones
5. Rose's speed: Nash needs much more than passing to be a star. Elite speed is more valuable in and of itself than elite court vision.

1. Lebron Athleticism or Kobe's killer instinct-i hate to say it tho
2. Yao Ming's height or Shaq's strength- shaq was more intimidating than yao... his strength alone and other factors made him so dominanted
3. Iggy all around game or ray allens jumper- ray allens jumper is one of the best all time... iggy is very good and all... but in the first round this yr, he layed an egg
4. Dirk's offensive game or KG's defensive game- dirk showed this yr hes bascially unguardable
5. Drose's speed or Steve nash's vision- roses speed
and btw this is a great set of questions

Since the forums have been dead im gonna make one. Pick which skill you would rather have
