Other guys like KG or Tim Duncan never had this accolade and going back a few more years Shaq. But it is a nice touch, you could argue that something should also be done for say Vince Carter maybe putting him in the dunk contest.
If they have done it for D-Wade and Dirk could you see someone like Melo being recognised this way in the future or more likely thinking he should be.
