princejamesParticipantWho in your opinion were the most overrated hoopmixtape stars?
My Choices:
1. JT Terrell – his hoopmixtape makes it seem like he was the next allen iverson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xIQ1BT8phk2. Ian Miller – I actually felt like this guy had alot of potential
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y29weTPWmiM3. Ryan Harrow – has some of the best hoopmixtape videos of alltime
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1trJqEoQVoo4. Duece Bello

ASAP HenryParticipantAustin Rivers def comes to mind. After his highlights u woulda thought he was the next D-Wade.
Derrick Favors: Looked a lot more NBA ready in his highlights, even though he is starting to put it together.
Kiwi Gardner: Idk if he has even gotten on a college campus yet, but my god the dude had a handle

bballjunkie09ParticipantKiwi Gardner is playing at Midland College (JUCO) in Texas. And yes, his mixtapes were a pleasure to watch. On another note, have you seen his brothers mixtape? This is an old video but WOW!

tiberiusParticipantHoopmixtape can Hype anybody, and make the whole world think he’s a possible d1 prospect. Some of the guys from ball is life and yay areas finest also look like future nba players, when in fact play a reserve role in college

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantExactly^^, but Bello and Gabe York had the best. I still think Gabe has potential to be a westbrook type player

FastAndFuriousParticipantKiwi Gardner
Gabe York
Perry Jones

Tha King2121ParticipantThe video under the Tony Mitchell profile is crazy too, I know it not Hoopmixtape its BallIsLife.com.

princejamesParticipantTony Mitchell and Perry Jones might have the best hoopmixtape videos I’ve ever seen. They look like super heros or like they are basketball gods in their videos
1. Tony Mitchell
https://ballislife.com/68-tony-mitchell-official-ballislife-summer-mix-college-player-of-the-year/2. Perry Jones
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quxsxSe1YToThe truth is that they are both extremely athletic and very talented basketball players. Who have the potential to be very good NBA players if they develop properly

SiggyParticipantAquille Carr
0- Posted on: Wed, 02/06/2013 - 9:49am #745049
LindseyParticipantAquille is one of the only “tiny” youtube stars I think might do damage at the next level. Seems to have some ability to operate in the half court against bigger bodies whereas most other little guys like kiwi are all transition all the time. Aquille ain’t passing that ball though.

For_Never_EverParticipantAquille Carr is a 5’6 Sg. He isn’t going to be able to get his shot off on NBA level height or get in the lane like he does now.

princejamesParticipantWe won’t know if aquille is a overrated prospect until he get’s in college. I will say this, if aquille carr was 6’1″ he would be the number one rated highschool player in the nation. I’ve had the opportunity to see aquille play in person and my cousin actually did a short film based documentary on aquille last year ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_S4yiShQss )
The young man in my opinion is a baby Allen Iverson. He’s a freakish athlete with tremendous finishing ability, great ballhandling skills, and great scoring instincs. He’s going to be a fun player to watch play in college

princejamesParticipantWhen I went with my cousin to go see him play in baltimore, the one thing that caught my attention was that his ability to make dynamic plays in traffic ( passing, dribbling, finishing lay-ups around the rim, creating space with his creative offensive footwork, scoring in extremely creative ways, etc ) was simply amazing.

SiggyParticipantYep, my answer is still Aquille Carr.

For_Never_EverParticipantRyan Harrow looks nothing like he does in the mixxtapes on the college floor.

King CaluchaParticipantWho looks bad on a Mix tape?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/06/2013 - 10:40am #745055
Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThis is a highlight of a players season and tournament games, they only take 1-2 plays out of every game and put it together, so of course everyone looks good.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI wanted to put Carr down, but you can’t we dont know how he will do at the next level,he might can do some damage….speed kills and he has tons of it, with a sick handle to match.
