Pat Young
After 3 years at Florida he's still the same player he was when he can there....And thats an athletic, high energy, power player that can rebound, defend, block shots, but has no post game and very raw offensively........From what i've read online about him, scouts are mixxed...Some feel he's a 1st or 2nd rounder, and even though he's undersized he still has the strength to battle & defend bigger players inside....While others say he'll go undrafted, becuz he's too 1 dimensional......
I want to know what does the big fella do in the summer. Just lift and run and work on jumping drill? Because his skills have never improved. He just gets stronger and stronger physically and that about it.
His hands are very small,I don't think he would make a good tight end. But on defense he possibly would be solid. He should be playing some type of pro sport he is a huge 20 year old.
I don't see it right now. There has been little progression, some regression from his SO to JR year. Though a big performance in the tourney, as seen time and time again, can push someones opinion over the top. If he can show up big on a potential championship team, he should go. If it doesn't pan out that way, Kasey Hill could make him look real good next year.
His rebounding leaves a lot to be desired.he only averages 6.8 rebounds a game. When you are undersized that number gives great alarm because other unsized bigs who NBA scouts question height wise rebound better than that
He's a big body and will probably be taken in the early to mid 2nd round on his physical tools alone. He's a guy I don't see helping his stock by coming back for one more year, but I also don't think he'd hurt it either. I think he's a 30-50 pick no matter what he decides.

Should Florida center Patric Young put his name out for the 2013 NBA draft or should he stay for his senior year and play with 2013 ESPN 100 top ten prospects Kasey Hill and Chris Walker? I think he should stay and be a veteran leader for the Gators next year.
